I stared for an extended period of time at the two lightbulbs that still cast light over the clutter and general disorganization that is my room. I was not inspired to do much more than turn off the lights. It never occured to me before to do so, but I decided that the lights were hurting my eyes.
(No, it's not possible that my staring at the brightness was what actually hurt. No. Shush.)
There was a reason for my lightbulb staring antics, however. I just can't remember what the reason was.
You see, dear reader(s), lightbulb staring does nothing for the mind. Nor does sun staring. Fire staring, on the other hand...well. That's different for everyone.
I leave you with this final thought: Lucifer Morningstar works for me now. Neener neener.
(Forgive me. This is my brain on vodka and Pepsi.)
