So I was explaining it to my friends, the things I do now. But nobody really understood it. (I'm not sure I really understand.) So we shuffled and kicked around for a bit.
Always willing to break the awkward silences I've made, I brought up to my friends that later today I was going to take my final driving exam! If I passed, I earned my license.
They wished me good luck, and we went to write an essay. My pencil ran dull midway through, I was annoyed. I wished I could be using this purple pen I found instead.
I am pretty incoherent this evening. I'm tired of thinking up words to put into sentences. D: I'm just tired of writing essays and taking tests and having to explain myself in the clearest way possible.
So I took my driving exam. Did you know you get points taken off for stalling out? I know it now. I dislike living in this area with so many hills. My instructor went easy on me, though. I was the first person the entire day to actually be organized, ready to go, and confident during the drive. Plus I laughed at all of his lame jokes.
I passed.
I have my driver's license. First one in my group of friends to be able to drive solo. I'm proud that I passed my very first try on a manual transmission. Mum was telling me about how her friend always brags about her kids. But now mum can brag that both of her kids passed the driving exam their first try in a manual.
Surely she has more to brag about?
I bought a really awesome leather bag. I am waterproofing it now. I will be taking it with me on my trip to Japan, it looks like a good bag for traveling. Nine days until I am in Japan!
