I just heard the voices for the new English Death Note anime that is supposedly out. But it looks like you have to buy it online and download it. I'd rather have a hard copy on DVD. Light's voice makes him sound like a whiny emo. L's voice makes him sound like a demonic Satanist. Even though he only said four words without the jumbled-ness.
I'm gonna go lock myself in the bathroom and cry until I hate Death Note. D; Then maybe things won't be so horrible.
Only a month and a half left for me until school gets out and summer break begins. I might be forced into getting a job this summer. While for the past couple years, I've been excited to finally get a job and have money and a car and all those freedoms; But ever since this school year has begun, I've realized just how badly I need summer break. D; I've never had such a taxing school year. So many absolutely horrible teachers! With other horrible students in class. With assignments that make no sense and due dates that are borderline impossible. And I know next year won't be any better, since it will be the same school with the same teachers and the same students. The only difference will be we're all a year older. And I need two months to just kick back and unwind. A job would get in the way of my unwinding time.
So! The watchmaker has yet to call me and give me an estimate on how much it'll cost to repair my watch. I'm thinking that one of three things happened: 1. The watchmaker is absolutely bogged down with work and broken watches all of the same type, since my watch broke due to a design flaw. 2. The watchmaker is really Sylar, and he's only just realized how much more he can be than just someone so normal, and is currently planning on eating the brain of the winning candidate of the '08 presidential election. He's so busy planning, in fact, that he's ignoring my watch. 3. The bimbo at the watch shop never actually sent my watch in like she said she would.
I'm hoping it was number two, since that would be the most exciting. :D But it's more likely number three. In which case, I may never see my watch again. But! I got my new pocket watch in the mail. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. And it's skeletonized so I can watch the gears move. Because it's a wind-up. I like to just sit and listen to it tick. Tick tick tick tick tick tick! There's never a tock. C: It ticks twice as fast as a regular watch, with is more satisfying. To me, at least. Dad says there are currently two other pocket watches in our family's possession. I can have one of them. It doesn't work anymore, and it's biggish and kinda clunky, but it was used by I think grandpa or great grandpa, when he worked at the railroads. So when it did work, it was super accurate. I've yet to see it, but I know I will soon. The other one is a family heirloom. I don't know anything about it. Just that I can't have it *yet*.
