(ooc: I'm back for now, but I don't know if I'll be back on tonight. I'm babysitting and as soon as I get back home (in about half an hour) I'm leaving for my grandparents. I shall try and post as much as I can, but I don't know if I have enough time to finish it, so I may have to finish later.)
In a feild surrounded by trees a young hanyou sat on a rock. The light breeze blew past her, bringing a scent along with it. Her nose twitched, catching the vile scent. She started gagging from the putrid smell. It was the stentch of human blood. The hanyou rose from her spot and began running toward the source of the smell. She needn't run but a short distance before she reached the village the oder came from. Something about this village seemed familiar... Putting her kimono sleeve over her nose so to block out some of the disgusting scent, the half neko child continued foward. Bodies were sprawled on the ground in pools of blood. She could tell that not one of the villagers were spared, by the fact that even infants had reached the same cruel fate as their parents and everyone else. So badly the did the hanyou girl want to turn back and run, but something kept her feet walking on the crimson stained ground. She didn't know where she was headed, she just knew that she didn't want to be there. As she walked she could feel the heat from the burning huts. Beads of sweat ran down her face, both from the heat and from the nercous feeling she had in the pit of her stomach. Continuing to step over bodies and blood splatters, the half demon suddenly found herself standing infront of a burning palace. For a moment she stopped, but without warning her feet started leading her inside. Once again she tried to turn back, but her feet wouldn't listen. She finally gave up, knowing she was no longer in control. The hanyou couldn't help but notice that although she could feel the heat of the flames that licked the wood, she herself was never injured by any of the falling beams or burned by the flames. They seemed to completely ignor her, as if she wasn't even there. After a while the girl could hear a distant voice. The voice sounded familiar.. very familiar. The more she walked, the closer the voice became. At last she could hear the voice sobbing away. "Mom... Dad... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry!" it wailed. The voice sounded so familiar and yet, the neko couldn't think of where she heard it before. The hanyou finally reached a large room with four people in it; three of which were dead. One of the bodies was seperate from the other three. This body belonged to a middle aged man. Although his clothing was ripped and stained with his own blood, the half breed was able to tell that he was the headmaster of the oh-so-familiar village. On the other side of the room the other two bodies were sprawled on the floor next to eachother. One was a demon man, the other a mortal woman. The only alive person was a teenaged girl. She too, looked extremely familiar. The hanyou girl was unable to tell who she was though, because she lay haunched over the two bodies, grieving loudly. Her pitiful cries were the only thing heard besides the crackling of the fire. The girl slowly began to stop crying. Slowly, she lifted up her head. For a while, her long, waist length brown hair covered her face. As she continued lifting her head, though, the hair cascaded off her tear stained cheeks and onto her shoulders. The hanyou girl let out a gasp as she reckgonized the girl. Although her eyes were puffy and red, they were the same lavender colored as the neko hanyous. Her hair, too, was the same as the neko's. Even her skin was the same. This grieving girl was infact the same person as the half human child. The girl looked at herself with wide eyes, amazed. The sobbing version of herself suddenly spoke in a dark, shuddering voice. "I swear, Naraku! I will kill you!" she shouted into the air. When the name reached the hanyou's cat like ears, everything came back to her. The village was Taruma Village, her own village. The headmaster was the father of her former lover, the youkai man was her father, and the mortal woman her mother. The villagers were all victims from the crazed rampage when her demon half took over. All of which Naraku's doing. Suddenly, everything seemed to stop and a cold feeling swept over. "Look at what you've done..." an ice cold voice said. The hanyou growled as she reckgonized the voice. "What I've done?! This is all your doing, Naraku!" she shrieked back. "My doing? How is it all my doing? I simply told the headmaster who his son was seeing, since he was so curious to find out," Naraku's voice chuckled. "Exactly! You told him! You told him everything and it led to this!" the girl said, pointing at the bodies. "Oh? Really?" his voice said. "Tell me, how is it my fault you went on a crazed rampage? How is it my fault that Hakai was killed in your place? How is it my fault that Yokomura sent out to kill you because he didn't want his son marrying a filthy half breed?" His voice asked. "Was it also my fault that you fell in love?" He chuckled, tautingly. The hanyou's hair stood on ends as she realized the voice was coming from right behind her. She could feel his ragged breath on the back of her neck, sending shivers down her spine. She twirled around, seeing the evil half demon. His red eyes pierced through her, causing her to loose confidence. She casted her gaze to the ground, not wanting to look at the dispicable villan. "Nay, none of this is my fault. Simply because you fell in love with a mortal-the young lord of the castle, no less- you brought this upon yourself," Naraku continued, "I offered you my assistance to keep you from transforming into your demon side and for you to be able to be with your lover. And all I asked for in return was your mother's jewel shard. I even waited; months infact, but you never came through. This destruction... this murder... this chaos, is all your fault, Lynn." Tears were welling in Lynn's eyes. "No... It can't be my fault..." she stutterd. "It can't? You were the one that never kept your half of our bargain. You were the one who lost control," Naraku said cooly. "But I can't control my demon half! I can't control how I respond!" Lynn snapped, shooting a glare at Naraku. "Really, now?" he said in mock surprise. "The last time I checked, whenever your demon side took over, you only went after whoever made you angry, but this time you destroyed your entire village. Wasn't it just the headmaster that killed Hakai? Wasn't it just Yokomura that angered you?" Lynn didn't respond. She knew she couldn't. The hanyou looked over at her mother and father and her grieving self. Tears streamed down her face. She wanted to say she was sorry, she wanted to fix things. Without warning, however, everything went black. Lynn couldn't see a thing. Her heart beat faster with every passing second, until she heard a familiar voice. "Why don't I put you out of your misery?" Her eyes grew wide, as she saw the face of the incarnation, Hakudoshi. She let out a blood curdling scream as he raised his spear and slashed.
Lavendar eyes shot open, the owner to them jolting upward. Dried tears stained her cheeks and beads of sweat lined her forehead. Her breathing was heavy and ragged. Her heart was pounding in her chest, and seemed to be stuck in her throat at the same time. She closed her eyes and her mouth, and started breathing through her nose in attempt to calm her breathing. With her right hand she whipped her face, trying to get the sweat and tears off. When she finished, she whipped her hand off on her black fur skirt and pushed her self up. She needed to walk around. 'Maybe that will stop my shaking...' she thought. A black leather armor like tank served as her top, and black fur pads with metal underneath were on her shoulders.
