I'm one of those people that don't have a problem making the essays I write long enough. I'm one of those people that turn in a ten page essay instead of two. D: It's not because I'm an over-achiever. It's because I'm long winded.
I've noticed that I make a lot of run on sentences like they were nothing. Reading through my journal entries, I noticed that I can babble on forever about the same subject. This is a habit I want to break. I keep meaning to come in and write maybe a paragraph about something, and then end up with this huge-long story. Even I don't like to read through all of the stuff I put in my journal. >__o
So I'm going to start with small steps. :3 Shorter sentences. I'll have to learn how to explain myself in less words. Once I master that, shorter paragraphs won't be a problem, and soon, my teachers won't hate me. whee
Yesterday I went on a field trip for my Japanese class. Hardly anyone showed up because it was over the weekend, thus it wasn't madatory. We went to the cherry blossom festival at the Seattle Center. There's weren't any cherry blossoms, but there was a really cool drum show. It was great--we rode on the ferris wheel below the Space Needle, and I bought this bottle filled with lemonade that was shaped like a lemon. whee Best five bucks I've ever spent.
Then, we went to Uwajimaya, the Asian super store. I spent a ton of money on art supplies and manga, and bought a bunch of candy for my friends. @__@ I had a lot of fun, and I'm happy that I found all of this manga that I have trouble finding everywhere else, and for only five dollars a book.
Manga is way cheaper there. :D And it's only a couple dollars if it's still in Japanese. xD
Anyone know what Haka Fruit is?
