Well, summer vacation is over, and that means it's back to work at the castle. And for starters, the event we've all been waiting for, the Heartfall Abyss Expedition is first on the agenda. Now, I know it's been a long time since my last post, but I was a little busy over the summer (Hey, even Nobodies take vacations sometimes). Now, for those of you who need a refresher course, here are the 4 teams of 3 that will be exploring and mapping the Abyss that those Unknown seem fond of jumping into-

Team 1:Xemnas, Roxas, Mixanne
Team 2:Xigbar, Xhadwos*, Darxian
Team 3:Vexen, Techxon, Xenrog
Team 4:Luxord, Marluxia, Kixala

*My official Organization 13 name.

Speaking of the Unknown Renegades, we've had 10 more sightings over the summer, though they all ended the same way as the others. The closest any one of us has gotten to capturing one of them was Axel. He actually created a flame wall to block the creature's path, then proceeded to engage the creature in combat. that's where things took a turn for the worst. After Axel fought it for a few minutes, it got very smart, because Axel says the next time he tossed one of his Chakram at it, it dodged, but activated some unusual power. When Axel warped over to the Chakram in mid flight, he suddenly got stuck in mid-warp! Lucky for him, not 5 minutes after the Renegade escaped, Xigbar happened across him during a patrol, and unfroze him using his power over space. Xigbar says what happened afterward was "The funniest thing to happen since Larxene went wildcat all over Xenrog's face for calling her an old hag!" It is something neither he nor Axel will say anything else about.

In other news, all of us are packed and ready, and the Xemnal Dragoon Jet Mk.1 has been enhanced with the latest technology and comfort enhancements (including, duh duh da daaaa!!!! Cupholders!), along with state-of-the-art defenses, and high-class weaponry (for any unexpected enemies on the way down), so we're pretty much set! As we got into the Dragoon Jet, the other members told me about their summers. Here's the short list:

Xemnas had been overseeing the rest of the preparations and getting in touch with Jewelara (He says we may be getting some special visitors sometime soon).

Xigbar had been playing Target Practice with various members of the Organization, although Larxene's butt has become a favorite target of his. To that end, Xenrog has become his favorite human shield.

Vexen had been tinkering with various experiments and doing me the favor of trying to find me information on the mysterious Dark Fenrir.

Luxord had been gambling...of course...I don't think anyone could pull him away from his cards for more than five minutes...he even got a timer setting on his Gizmo to prove it...

Marluxia had been tending his garden and spending time with Larxene.

Roxas had been spending time with Axel and Mixanne.

Mixanne had been spending time with Roxas and (reluctantly) Axel.

Darxian had been with me, having adventures at the Heartless Tavern.

Techxon had been tinkering with various mechanical devices and enhancing the Xemnal Dragoon Jet Mk.1 with Vexen and Xemnas

Xenrog had one of the craziest summers ever, going back and forth between arguing with Xewith, raiding the castle's cola supply(it's his version of beer/rum/crack/you get the idea), and unwillingly protecting Xigbar from the wrath of Larxene's claws...

Kixala didn't say much of anything. She hasn't really opened up that much. Even Xemnas doesn't know what she does.

And that is what the members who are going on the Expedition did with their summers. I'll report the rest of the member's various activities and the first chapter of the Heartfall Abyss Expedition in my next post. Until next time!
