A squeel of joy filled the room. That was all Risha could do, squeel. She hid with Tyren and his family for the past few months.
Over that period of time she had grown to love these people, and they had grown to love her.
Ealier, she was about to leave to go, well who knows where, but just when she was about to leave Tyren came and offered to let her life with them.
Obviously, she couldn't resist, for she never had a home. All her life she spent on the streets, and today she was finally getting a home.
That had been seven months ago, and today even better news had been anounced. Risha was a princess! Tyren had decided it was time to tell her that he was a king.
Melani was the queen, and thus she was a princess, along with her brother, Fier, and sister, Elia. She was smiling the rest of the day, at school, even when Morzar
a rich, smart kid, and his crew bothered her. She didn't even notice when they flung food at her, well not alot. For a moment, she was oblivious to everything around her,
that is, until someone tapped her on the shoulder. She slowly turned around just to gaze into glossy brown eyes. Startled she fell back. Shion, her friend, just smilled.
She was about to tell him everything, when she remebered What Tyren said.
You should tell no one, for we have many enemies who would want to harm you.
"Hi Risha, why are you so happy all of a sudden?"
"No reason"
"No Reason, Huh?" A Deviouse smile formed in his mouth when he said that. "You just got splattered with mashed potatoes and your happy for no reason?"
Risha kept quiet, she had no idea what to say. It was hard keeping a secrete, even harder keeping two of them. She had no idea what to do. Quickly,
without thinkng she stuffed food in her mouth, too much food. Risha started chocking.
"Risha? Risha!? Risha!!!"
Shion ran toward her frantacly, grabbed her waist and squeezed. After several seconds, and squeezes, the food caught in her throat came shooting out.
Risha frantacly started to gasp for air. Tears formed in her eyes. she had no idea why, but they did. She stood there, feeling sheepish, hoping Shion would say something.
He didn't, it was silent for a while, then the bell interupted the silence. Slowly she walked to class, not caring what Morzar said. It was gonna be a long day.
Tyren was sitting in his study when someone knocked at the door.
"Come in"
Drokiem came in, looking troubled. Tyren had no desire to to chat, even if it was with his best friend.
"What is it, Drokiem?"
"I fear it might be the end of Hitorik as we know it"
Tyren was getting mad. "Just get to your point!"
"Southern Hitorik is turning to the dark side."
"WHAT!!!!WHY??!!!!!"
"We have no idea why, all we know is that a man named Golk, and your enemy, Sidon-Darth, are leading them."
Tyren said nothing, what was there to say. They had betrayed him, and the rest of the world of Hitorik.
"Drokiem, get the army armed, and bring me my sword. Also, get us some spies over there, we need to find out whos loyal and whos not."
"But, Tyren, were not even at war."
"Who said were not?"
"I'll get to it right away, sir."
With that, Drokiem left. Tyren picked up his CPU, and quickly typed a message to Melina, his wife.
"Melina, I wont be able to make it home, for the south might be turning to the dark side."
It made Tyren mad, not be able to be home on such an important day. How he loved his simple home. Sure he could afford any house he wanted, but he settled on a simple old country home.
He just hoped Risha wouldn't be mad that he missed her birthday. It would be her first birthday with them. Hopefully he could finish before they ate the cake.
Tyren was about to leave when he remmembered his CPU. He walked to his desk and picked the little device. He saw something, someone uknown sent him a message.
"If you want to live, stop trying to stop the south from joining the dark side and if that doesn't stop you maybe this will..."
Tyren stare, eyes wide, in disbelieve.
Risha arrived home late, as usual. She arrived late everyday, because of all her after school activities. Also, she often gets distracted walking home. Today, she spotted a cake.
Not just any cake, but the perfect one for her birthday, eight days from now. She stepped into the small home, hoping to find Tyren. She walked to the living room, planing on seeing him on
the couch, watching T.V. as always. When she saw he wasn't there, she thought he might be in the grand libary reading one of the many books. She dashed around the small corner to check, nothing.
She went to every room, and found nothing. Then she realiced, no one was home, not Tyren, not Melina, or thier children. Not even that wierd, White haired friend of Tyren, Drokiem. Quickly, she
dashed to the back yard, still nothing. Then she thought they might be in the "Room". She had no idea what was in the "Room", for she had been warned to stay out, forbidenned, actually. However,
at that moment she forgot she was forbiden to go there. Slowly and eagerly, like a child stealing an extra cookie behind his mothers back, she opened the steel door. Shocking, it was the only word to describe what she saw.
She knew that the family held secretes, but she had no idea what they where, until today. The red headed Woman stood next to her light blue haired husband. They were staring at their children probably.
What were thier names? The red head was Melina, that long hair was unmistackable. The man was... she couldn't remember. The red headed children... Elia and Fier!!!! So the man was Tyren!!! With that, she remembered that she wasn't
aloud here. She quickly closed the door and ran. Why had they held many secretes? She had no idea, but discovering them was no pleasure. How would she confortably with some assasins? Well, even she held secretes, secretes that would
certanly make everyone hate her. Risha grabbed a horse from the barn and left, hoping a ride would clear her mind.
Tyren stood on top of the roof of his small house. The dust rose to his knees, dirtying his baggy pants. Finaly, he knew the time had come. Risha had discovered their secrete, and left in a hurry. Yes, it was time to tell her
all about their life, and also to tell her that they knew all about her secrete. He smiled at the thought of the secrete she held, which she made sure no one would discover it. It was time all right, time to talk, teach, and iliminate.
