Elia was stricking everyone in her path. She had her sword covered in blood in jusy a few seconds. The pain caused by the darkness made her have to slow each strike down. The darkness itself made her wait till the enemy was practacally on her. She killed seven people before something
hit her head, knocking her out.
Fier was using his best axe, and was doing good until he entered. When he entered, his bones turned to jelly, his eyes stung from the darkness. He tried to call out to his sister, but his voice was taken by the abyss. He stood, trying to get a hold of his senses. Nothing. His legs gave way, and
he fell to the ground.
Melani was attacking using her long sword, she killed person after person. Then, she entered the darkness. Right away she knew it was the power of the Element of Darkness. She reached her hand into her pocket, drew out a bracelet with the Water Element in it. She extended her arm and spoke the
words for "Bubble Barrier". The barrier appeared around her, letting her see, and not get hurt by the darkness. She cried out the name of her children, telling them to come. No one responded.
"Elia, Fier, Risha come here this instant!!!"
"Sorry, the kids won't be able to make it." said a sweet voice.
Melani turned and saw a tall, handsome, blue-eyed, blond man.
"Who are you?"
The man stared at her, head tilted to one side.
"I am Golk."
Melani tightened the grip on her sword and ran toward him. She suddenly flew back. The man came close and said something that sounded like a prayer, she knocked out.
Risha was running into the darkness, she was scared. When she reached the darkness, her skin acked. She tried to walk, but couldn't. Then, she heard Fier, Elia and Melani fall. They were under attack. Someonecame near her.
"My, My. What do we have here?"
She tried to speak, but nothing came out.
"What, you don't like running in the dark? Well, don't worry, you won't be running in a while."
Risha panicked and tried to leave. Her legs were too weak, she fell to the ground. The man walked over her and and took out his blade. Risha tried to block by putting her hands in front of her. The man didn't swing. Looking up, Risha saw the darkness around her dissapeared. She got up.
"Hmmm.... I see you have powers."
"Shut up."
"Oh, your a rude little girl."
"Not rude, mad."
"Either way, you must die."
The man at her, Risha blocked with her sword. The man moved swiftly to the right and swung at her leg. Risha grabbed the man's arm and swung him into the darkness. He came back running at her. She sent her energy into a nearby stone, and sent it flying at him. The stone hit the man
in the head and sent him flying. Risha walked, looking for her family. She was felling tired, her vision blured. She lost conscious.
Risha opened her eyes, she was tied up next to her family. Drokiem, and three others were there too. Forty men stood before them. From the forty came out three. Risha gasped, she reconized two from the inn. The third was a new face.
"Why the long face girl? Afraid to die?"
Risha was supprised at the blond man's nice voice.
"I see the rest are waking up."
Risha stared to her left and right.
"Risha are you okay, sweety?"
"Yes Melani."
"Let us go!!!! If you don't I'll kill you!!!!" Said a little kid.
""Nahan, nice to see you again. I never knew you would be here."
"Golk, shut up and let us free!!!!"
"Sorry, no can do."
Tyren spoke soflty, "At least free my wife and the children."
"Tyren, I'll be nice. I'll kill them first, so you can see."
"Risha was scared. She didn't care what happened, as long as she lived.
"Let me go!!!"
"Let them go!!!"
"Let me go!!!"
"Shut up!!!!" scream the third person.
Golk walked over to Tyren. "I am going to make you suffer."
Risha was crying. She didn't want to die, she wanted to live.
Golk walked to her, an orb in his hand. He extented his arm and pointed at her. He spoke a few unintelligible words.
"What?" Risha said, speaking for the first time to Golk.
"I said, do you want to be free?"
"Yes."
"Then join me."
Risha stared at him, she would betray Tyren if she joined Golk. However, she wanted to live, and didn't care about Tyren anymore. Her heart filled with hatred.
"Will you?"
Risha stared into Tyren's eyes, and said, "Yes, I will."
Tyren stared at her, eyes wet with fresh tears. Melani sobbed loudly, Fier had his mouth open and Elia tried to avoid her gaze.
Golk releazed her. She walked over to the small army.
"It's time to kill them." Golk said.
"Not so fast!!!!!" said a voice from afar.
Three people came running down a hill.
"Stop them." Golk told seven buff soldiers.
The soldiers went running toward the three kids. The first kid took out a staff, the second a stone and the third alos a stone. When the soldiers got there, after alot of laughing, the first kid said two quick words, "Sonic Blast." Quickly, a rush of air and sound was sent strait at the soldiers.
They went flying, and fell, cracking their necks. More soldiers ran, and the second kid was replaced by a cheetah. The cheetah ran and tore to shreds the soldiers. All the soldiers ran, and the third kid summoned something. A fairy, with angel wings. The soldiers laughed, stopping midfield.
The kid said a simple command, "Heaven Fall." The fairy flew up, until it was a glowing speck in the sky. Then came back down at impposible speeds. It crached in the middle of the army, and killed every single soldier. The kids ran to Tyren. Golk and three others dissapeared.
Risha followed them.
Tyren fell to the ground. He got up, brushed himself of, and spoke to the kids.
"Vist, Rorin, Jospen. How great to see you guys. What brought you here?"
"Nahan called us." said the first child, Rorin.
The second, Vist, spoke. "Eeeeee, you owe us you minime."
"Don't worry I'll pay you back later."
Tyren was glad to see the three of them. Even though Rorin and Jospen were only thirteen and Vist was only eight. Tyren walked off to the distant hill. He gazed at the sky, then broke down crying. Melani came over and sat next to him. They held each other, saying nothing for hours.
The next day, Tyren walked into his library, not having nothing to do, since the south removed their army for a while. Tyren picked up his book, "In Winter's Dark". He bearly read a sentence before throwing the book at a vase. The vase broke into hundreds of pieces.
Tyren went to his lab, grabbed what looked like half a pair of glasses. He tried to make a few adjustments. He grabbed the device and was about to throw it, but thought better. He went outside and mounted his horse badazle. He rode into the distant.
