I scream out as I watch his eyes fade to black, all their luster die in a warped second. I can't do anything, anything other than scream out to him. I grab his hands their warmth fleeting. I scream and scream, even after the almbulence arrives and rushes off, the two of us bound for the hospitol. They shoot me up with tranquilizers, tell me calmly that I'll kill myself if I keep that up. I try to be calm but can't. My mind is still screaming at me, screaming at him for leaving. "He's going to be fine!" They shout as they drag me away. I don't want to let go! I don't want him to leave! He can't leave! "No! I won't let him go! Let me stay with him!" Tears pour from eyes and my voice clings to my throat. They drag me away, reasuring me that he's going to be alright, he just fainted. I scream out again, leting my tears free. I curl into a tight ball on the waiting room couch. As everything leaves me I start to register their words. 'He's going to be fine. He's collasped, but there is no injury to him. He'll wake up soon.' I sniffle and cough, my throat feeling like it was just grated with sandpaper. I stretch out across the couch, gazing around the sterile, white room. The water drips from the drinking fountain, the vending machine hums, and the clock ticks. However all those tiny little sounds that seemed to aplify and coat my hearing die out as I hear more shouting errupt behind the locked white door. I slowly sit up as the nurse behind the glass dashes away. The noise escalates, moving progressively towards me. "Stop! You can't go out there! We haven't finished your tests!" Almost hundreds of voices and footsteps emanate from the door. It bangs open as the mysterious strange gallantly stalks forward. The doctors at his heels, trying with all his might to pull the god back to his bed. Nurses hover about, shouting and rabbeling. He ignores them all. His focuse so pure that it grants him the will and strenght to push through them all. He sweeps across the room, easily wrenching off the doctor and handing him to the nurses. He stops before me, tenitily perching on the edge of the couch. "I am sorry." He replies simply, his deep blue eyes returned to normal. "I have caused you pain." I chuckle and fall into his chest, buring my face in his open arms. "It's okay, I'll live." I say and grasp his thin body tightly in my arms. He responsed with a brisk pat on my head and eases me back. "I will repay my debt to you." He says stoicly and stands. "You can tell me whats wrong with me?" He adress the frazzled doctor. "Pardon me me, young man! But I asure you I do not enjoy getting dragged down here!" The doctor blusters. "Young... man?" He seems confused, and suddenly bursts out laughing. The doctor even the nurses are stunned by his odd reaction. But I can't help but smile and giggle along with him. I was glad I got to see him do something human for once. However it is quickly lost as his untouchable mask replaces its self. "Tell me what is wrong with me, that was not normal." He says stoically and leads the doctor off. I chase after him and latch onto his arm. His swift pace barely falters as I cling to him. "You shoulf laugh more often." I tell him. He stares down at me, his eyes lost in thought. "Anako." He says flatly. "What?" I say, thinking maybe he started talking in another language. "My name. It is... Anako." He repeats and breaks from me. I stand there stunned in the midst of the bustling back room of the emergency room. He had told me his name, he has given me the first sign that we can become friends. I want to help him, even if it means learning things about him I'd rather not know. I want to know Anako.
