I heard this song when I was drivin' to work and it made me think of a story I was making. It made think that it would make for cool theme music.
It's "When I'm Gone" by Simple Plan.
It was mostly the scripted destiny part that caught my attention, then from there, I just followed along, trying to see if it fit. It pretty well does.
My story takes place in an alternate dimension where everything is scripted, but depending on the script type you can only know so far in advanced without any sort of divergence in the script.
If one has a Master Script, it won't change. Ever.
But the typical script will.
The three main characters were brought to the alternate dimension and ended up running into two twin brothers that are out laws. They alter people's scripts. However they're also a strange alien race that loves sex so they hit on everyone and everything no matter the situation.
But the three eventually have to go back to their original universe. So they'll be missed when they're gone.
