I awoke one day to find myself in a field
I was lying in the tall grasses
taking advantage of the shade a small tree had produced
white fluffy clouds bordered the blue sky
I watched as a beautiful white dragon
snaked its way through the heavens
I then realized it was just another cloud
I got up and found myself surrounded
by many wildflowers
the butterflies mingled in and out of the grasses
there was a cool breeze
I walked down to a small brook that was home to many tiny minnows
I tip-toed through the cool water and found myself in a forest
thats when I saw you
you had perched yourself on a rather large rock
vines of ivy crept upward and rested at your feet
your beautiful eyes drove me mad
instantly in love with you
I called out
I got to the foot of the rock and began to climb
when I reached the top
a wave of horror crashed through me
as I realized you were made of glass
I wept as Ifelt your icy hands
I looked into those eyes
they looked back into mine
then I realized...they shattered me
they paralyzed me to the core
moments earlier I was blissfully unaware
that I could even feel anything but happy
but this absurd thought reassured me
that I was broken
so I looked once more into those jagged eyes
and then I shattered them.





don't know if thats a poem or a story but I kind of like it.
