Movie Without a Screen
Sit alone in a crowd of people,
And watch the faces floating by.
Like a movie it all plays out without you.
A tragedy occurs. You forget to cry.
Pick out the flaws on the screen,
The poor effects and the character's lies.
So close like you can reach and touch,
Too far to even bother trying.
Can't decide if you feel more like God,
Untouchable by their tiny pains,
Or a phantom ghost, incapable,
Of reaching out a helping hand.
The movies on the screen,
Have more beautiful and enigmatic characters,
More touching moments,
No secrets unrevealed and meaning to their scars.
But something about these actors,
Makes you smile and keeps you watching.
Searching for the story's lessons.
Hoping for the happy ending.
Not the best, but meh. Just felt like writing something and this came out. xD
