Decaying Tears Creeping into me With a Pain Mistaken for a Life Left Behind By: Kerry and I
Six feet under With a pain mistaken for the life left behind Above, the dim clouds, tears decaying within The voices of yesterday gone No vibrations to be found Deep within the bitter darkness Rusting its way inside your remains Blood of yours has been taken hostage Used as paint to renew the gate.
Thorns extend their way up towards the light (A mere shell of the past) Scaling the walls, the nightlife they’re leaving behind ...And I'm afraid, afraid of what it does to me.. In the dust they’ve lived--they know the way To the heaven stars that beam down so bright To take away life- My life- You’re gone.
The unforgiving night sky staring down at me Slowly disabling me as each day passes on I found myself sifting through my thoughts once more --They’re gradually creeping into me again-- The horizon’s become my friend To take my pain away to the next week Where the moonlight throws it back again. Too many scars My veins filled with the unrelenting darkness The blood has sprayed forevermore With the handfuls of dirt The night stops leaking into my palms And I’m asleep by dusk.
