So we've decided to start a band, us four. Which four of us? I shall never tell~ Or maybe I will. xD Who knows! I certainly don't.
But either way, we have a bass guitar, drums, electric guitar, and I'm in charge of "the sound," or, more specificaly, keyboard and whatever other instruments I wanna bring in. I'm thinking of saving for an electric violin. That'll really add something different. xD Or maybe an acordian. TMBG has an accordian, and it sounds great. O:
We're all gonna sing. I don't mean we have one lead singer and the rest of us backup sing, we're each gonna be lead in one song or another. So, I think we're going to have to teach a couple of us to sing. xD We're all going to write songs, too. So nobody's really in the limelight for the band. Though, keyboard and drums will likely be pushed to the back since that's usually how things are set up. And we each have different tastes in music: guitarist likes metal, bassist likes rock and punk, drummer likes rock and pop, and I like everything thing. Except emo and country, because they're both the same, just one guitar is plugged in and the other's not. D: But I like songs that are very different and out there. Now, I don't think we'd be able to combine all of our interests and make a whole new genre all our own, because I'd throw that off too much. So we'd end up playing a wide range of songs.

Now, I can play instruments fine, and I can sing well enough, but I suck at writing lyrics. I can't even write poetry. I don't know how it's possible that I can be good at writing stories but so absolutely lame at writing everything else, but it is. xD So I've been listening to a lot of songs lately, and trying out a few lyrics of my own. All I come up with is things like "today I had a pickle, I was feeling kind of fickle, but I like it all that way~"

Maybe I should write a song like that.
