“Power…Refinin' force? What the heck is a power refinin’ force?” Ada ask confused.
“It’s where the powered ones go and are experimented on and in order to do please the doctors.”
“Hmm…. By doctors, do ya mean, scientist?”
The boy nods. “Yes.” He looks towards the house as a door opens and out comes a young girl, looking around the age of fifteen as well.
On her was a pair of white skin tight capris with a white miniskirt over it. The miniskirt had black seeming. She has on a with long sleeved shirt under a black tank top. The long sleeved shirt was cut at her stomach, to reveal about seven inches of her tummy, and her black tank top was short, right below her chest. She had a pair of white gloves on her hands and a Yang charmed necklace. Her hair was pitch black, and long. To about the bottom of her rear-end. Her eyes where a gray color, with a black pupil. Like normal people.
“Who’re you?” Ada ask the girl straight out.
The girl looked at Ada like she was crazy and then ran over to the boy. “Eww…. Kurai.” She ask the boy as she stood up straight with her hands on her hips.
The boy, Kurai, looked over at the girl. “What?”
The girl looks at Ada up, and then down, and the up again. “Are you bringing home homeless people, again?”
Kurai glares at the girl. “Megumi, that was uncalled for. She isn’t homeless…I don’t think.”
Ada puts her hands to her sides with her fist clinched. “I ain’t homeless! I live with my uncle!”
Megumi sighs. “What’s an uncle?” She ask Kurai.
Kurai looks at her. “It’s a brother of there mother or father of the person saying uncle.”
Megumi looks at Ada. “You have a mom and dad?”
Ada shakes her head. “I was adopted. What’s it any of yer business?”
Megumi shrugs. “It’s not, I was just asking. Witch.”
Kurai glares at Megumi and hits her upside the head. “That’s enough.” He looks at Ada. “Please, excuse her rudeness.”
Ada looks at Megumi, crosses her arms and then looks at Kurai. “I’d have ta excuse the whole thing.” She said with her head up in the air as well.
Megumi puts her head up in the air. “Hmph! I don’t have to take any of this!” She said and then crossed her arms.
Kurai looks at her. “Then go inside….”
Ada looks over towards the house. Then at Kurai. “No, I was just leavein’.” She said as she starts walking.
Kurai looks at Ada. “You don’t have to. Megumi is just picky about the people that hang around her. You don’t have to be bothered by it. Besides, you don’t look like you have ever tired to use your power before.”
Megumi looks at Kurai. “You’re not serious. Are you?”
Kurai looks at Megumi. “Well, there is only one way to find out.”
Megumi sighs. “She has powers?”
Ada looks back at the two of them. “What are ya two blabbin’ about?”
Kurai looks at Ada. “We think you have powers.”
Megumi looks at Ada. “Correction, HE thinks you have powers.”
“I’ve got what?” Ada ask.
Megumi sighs. “She’s stupid to boot.”
Ada stomps over to her. “Well at least I ain’t ugly and I can look down and see my feet without my chest bein’ in the way!”
Megumi stands up straight. “Excuse me?!”
Kurai gets in the middle of the two of them. “Okay, we’re done. Enough is enough.” He looks at Megumi. “You, go inside.”
Megumi pushes Kurai’s hand away from her and starts walking, slamming the door shut, as it starts to lightning.
Kurai puts his hand that is in front of Ada down.
“Why’d ya stop me?” Ada ask with a glare towards the house.
“Because,” Said Kurai as he sits down on the ground. “you looked like you where going to kill my sister.”
Ada looks down at Kurai, then sits down with a blank face. “Sister?” She ask with a now confused look.
“What?” He ask as her took Ada’s hand that is bandaged. “We don’t look alike?”
Ada nods. “Ya do, but I thought she was just obsessed with ya. And not in a brother kinda way.”
“No,” He said with a shake of his head as his hand starts to glow blue, and her hand starts to heal. “We are just simply siblings. Nothing else, at all.”
“Whoa….” Ada said as he lets her hand go. “Is it?”
Kurai simply nods as she rips the bandages off her hand and there is cut or scar on her hand. “How did you?”
Kurai chuckles standing up, Ada does as well. “I can heal people, and run faster then light can go.”
Ada sits there for a moment and them smiles. “That’s totally awesome! How can you do that?”
Kurai smiles. “It’s my power.”
Ada looks at him oddly. “Your… power?”
