We run so fast and run so hard
Searching ourselves for the answer why,
To know what makes our spirit whole,
Hidden deep inside and behind every sigh,
Every beat that radiates the hope deep in our heart.

The desire to open our eyes to a brand new day,
Despite the challenges that lie ahead of us ,
Lighten up with a happy smile,
And reach out our hands and learn to trust,
Letting all our worries and doubts blow away.

To call out their name and for them to be there,
Puts our mind at ease and our whole being safe,
Always to know that they waiting right here,
In them we try to place all our love and faith,
Knowing we can rest under their sweet and tender care.

At times we sit alone focusing on what and when it went wrong,
Combining all the problems whether they are big or small,
Sometimes someone to talk to helps ease that loneliness,
Try to think of me and send out that call,
My help and comforting heart is on its way so just wait, I won't be long.

A gentle breeze blows softly along the evening calm,
Once a brand new day begins to draw to the end,
While our head lay softly upon our special pillows,
We think of the happy and unique times that had transcended,
Think of their face while we drift into a dream imitating their charm.
