Joy!
My weekend was full of stuff. It is my bedtime, and I have school tomorrow. Will I get everything typed out?!
Friday! Right after school, I went to the forum with my friends to audition for the play. A Midsummer Night's Dream. It was pretty fun. <3 I sat down, filled out a form, and waited for the director to call my name so that I could do a cold reading. Cold readings are really hard with Shakespear, and I don't think I did as well as I could have if it were in modern English. I was called up thrice. Once, because it was my turn for a cold reading, another because he wanted a good look at the newcomers, and last because I happened to be tall. He lined up all the tall girl, and chose three. And then had them read a couple pages from the book. I was one of the final three. xD I felt good. I went up one last time because Rae and I wanted to do a scene, mostly because Rae had only been called up once. She got nervouse and read too fast, poor thing. I want her to do well. I'd like to have a speaking part in the play, but I'm fine with nothing. Really, I just wanted to see what I could do. I had never tried acting in public before, so it was pretty awesome.
Still Friday! After tryouts! Rae and I decided to go to the football game. We had a lot of fun, we got in and found a seat in the stadium. I had never watched a football game before, and it took me a bit to figure it all out. xD I'm so not sporty. Sean came over and watched with us. We mostly just talked, and every so often we'd cheer. That's how it should be! <3 Sean's brother and girlfriend came and sat behind us. She started talking to us for a reason I can't remember, and found out that she is a Death Note fan. We all screamed like fangirls, just as a touchdown was scored, then we stood up and kept screaming. x3 It was great. We got her e-mail, and I was IMing her earlier. Sweet. During halftime we left our seats behind to go dance. xD this one kid in the band that was playing drums kept looking our way and smiling. I decided he was looking at Rae, and after the show we yelled down to get his name. And we did. xD Hah, it was so out of character for me. Rae freaked out about him untill she saw Cody B, an old crush who went off to a different highschool, one year ahead of us. She almost hyperventilated, which is what she does every time she shees him. We went and stalked him for a couple minutes, and then I yelled at him "Hey! Are you Cody B?!" and he ignored me. "This is Rae! Do you remember her?!" "Yeah."
Hee. I didn't want to say this to Rae, but he blushed a bit when I said her name.
She very nearly killed me. But at least he didn't forget about her. xDD
We got a ride home from Rae's dad, and I was taken back to my house. I grabbed some stuff and went to spend the night at Rae's. We watched Stay Alive, a scary movie. I was worried she'd have nightmares because scary movies really freak her out, so I stayed up and talked to her untill 1. I love how I can talk to her all night, most of my friends fall asleep on me.
Saturday! Rae had to leave because she had Driver's Ed. While she was gone I read manga, played video games, and took a shower. Then her mom and I drove off to pick her up and shop for a party they were going to throw. We went back to her house for a bit, then they kicked me out and I went back home.
Sunday! I missed Girl Scouts because I was still having my morning headrushes when it was time to leave, and I had a lot of homework to do. I got the important homework done, and blew off the rest. I got online to do my vocabulary, but my IM logs in when my computer turns on, and I got bombarded by a lot of IM's. sweatdrop I printed out the vocab and talked untill the very last minute when I had to leave for dinner. I'll do the vocab later.
We ate out for dinner, with our familt friends. There was an all you can eat crab buffet, and my parents plus Julie had that. Julie ate one crab, my parents two. xD They almost kept going, but we were all waiting for them. then we had icecream and drove home.
Now here I am! <3
