CHAPTER ONE
Background music: James Bond Theme
It was a calm late afternoon. Too calm. This usually crowded city Drive-Thru was completely lifeless, if you ommited one grey cat wandering near the garbage cans, and the old man snoring at the cash register. The sun was touching the tops of the highest buildings around when a black Ferrari seemed to come out of nowhere. It drove at an astohising speed, and took off in the air, flying over the garbage cans and the horrified cat, to land perfectly in the desired parking spot. Dust from the gravel parking ground lifted as the tires touched land.
Once the Dusty cloud setteled, a few moments later, the cat was gone and the old man, fully awake. The still shining black ferrari doors opened silently and a a tall, muscular man stepped out. All dressed in black, he seemed very... proffessional. He started to walk confidently towards the trembling man behind the cash register. His polished black shoes made almost no sound on the gravel. His glazing blue eyes were filled of determination. He shove one powerful hand through his perfectly cut brown hair and ajusted his bow tie. The mysterious man arrived at the cash rejister.
"What? You?" the old man said, astonished, when he recognised the man's face. "I thought you were..." but he never finished his phrase, for the man in black had already pulled out his black revolever at the speed of light and shot him. He fell lifeless on the floor.
Seeming to be dissapointed, the killer replied, "I'm dissapointed in you, Jo. A professional gangster like you should have been able to save himself... at least, now justice has been served."
He left the body where it was and went to the back of the building. There, he entered the back door and saw exactly what he was looking for. A black jewelwry box. When he saw the jewels inside, he knew he had been right. Putting them in a small velvet pouch wich he put in his pocket, he found his way back to his Ferrari and was gone in a split second.

At the police station, Chief Baloney was dazzling with joy. The missing crown jewels had been found and one of the city's most dangerous criminals was dead! What a better way to end a day of work! "What would we do without you, agent 008?" he said admiringly. But the hero of the day excused himself, and was gone in a minute.

Boy, do I love this job, thought our misterious crime stopper while driving his ferrari to his next destination. But his job had its downs, too. For exaple, that little heroic moment had cost him to be late for his date. A blind date, actually. His boss, which name is so top secret I cannot reveal it to you, had set him up with a lady he said to be the most beautiful of them all. Agent 008 accepted, of course. He would never miss an opportunity to meet a beautiful lady.
At last, he arrived at the Grand City Hotel, where the ball/reception had already started. It was almost dark, and the city neon lights shone with an air of festivity and muffled music came from the inside. After parking and exiting his car, he brushed away invisible dust from his vest with his hand, and climbed the marble stairs towards the immense door. At the entrance a tall butler with dark hair asked for his name. "Bond." 008 replied. "Jay Bond." The butler checked the guests list, noded, and guided him inside.
