Bah! I'm still sick! And it's worse than I thought!
I've been sick for five days now. A little spot on my throat has always hurt, but I didn't think it related to me feeling sick. Day three is started feeling like my tonsils were swelling up. Day four, at night, I finally opened my mouth, looked in the mirror, and wondered how long I had to live. It seems my tonsils, or something that is my throat, have decided to swell up, turn bright red, and cover themselves in white leopard spots. Or white, curvy stripes. Maybe it's wavey, and I just can't see the other side? Whatever, it's creepy and scary. I showed my mum after looking into the mirror, who showed my dad, and ultimately they decided I was not to go to my first day of school. Mum looked really scared.
By the way, school started today. I didn't go.
Dad took me to the doctor's not long after I woke up, and it took a really long time for someone to just look in my throat. We waited an hour in the waiting area, which was too cold. We waited half an hour for the doctor... Where did that last hour and a half go? The whole process took three hours. They tested me for strep, which was negative. Then they had to draw blood for a mono test, which was also negative. But I nearly fainted. xD Getting blood drawn is worse for me every time. The doctor had no idea what was wrong with my throat, so he just prescribed a strong anti-biotic. I'll be going to school when I feel up to it.
Which reminds me, I took the medication two hours ago. I should eat some potasium now. D: That's what the pharmacy guy said.
