Doctors, Pirates, and Heros
I got to listen to the new song by Motion City Soundtrack, "The Worst Part", which is on the Superman soundtrack. I absolutely adore it. It has a really distinct feeling to it. Even if you're in a really hyper, happy mood, when you listen to the song it forces you into a calm state (possibly even depressive...at least it makes for good artwork). The songs that can grip and alter your emotions like that are the best ones you ever listen to. So, kudos to MCS for making such a rocking song.
While on the note of music, I saw Panic! At the Disco in concert. It was a HUGE blast, and all of the music was fantastic (The Hush Sound got pluses for their cute bassist.). Everything was going pretty well until I saw my friend being carried to the first aid station. At first I thought she just got a little over-heated, but it turned out to be worse than that. Her heart rate refused to drop like it should, so she ended up having to get in an ambulance and go to the hospital.
Thus, we were in the hospital for about four hours. I was worried they would come out and tell us her heart imploded, but she was fine. Hopefully now she'll realized when she needs to leave the crowd and get a drink before she gets dehydrated. She still hasn't called the guy that carried her out of the crowd...she really should. He's probably wandering if she's alive.
On to more entertainment. I saw the new Pirates of the Carribean at midnight way back on the sixth. I have to say, they didn't dissapoint. It had a great mix of action, romance, humor...I was taken from the very beginning. I think they did a really great job on the sword fights. You didn't get bored at all watching those. All the actors did awesome.
...I laughed at Will getting flogged...am I a bad person?
