Is it just me, or have journals suddenly gained weight? O__o
I came home from school today, all happy and listening to my music as I walked from the bus stop to my house. whee My dad was outside using the leaf blower on tree droppings that were scattered all over our driveway. He flagged me down and gave me some terrible news. gonk I want to go to school B, right? But I'm not really in the district for it. So I have to maintain a C-average, otherwise they can just kick me out for no good reason. I don't think it's all that fair, but what's wrong with passing school, y'know?
But as it turns out, right now I have a D-average. This late in the year, there's not much I can do to raise my grade but pass the finals. I just took a math test today and got an A, and took the Japanese final, which I think I did well on. My math grade is lacking a bit, so it won't hurt to raise it up a bit. My Japanese grade is no problem at all. But... now what? I'm, studying as well as I can for the English final, and the second math final. But even if I got 100% on both tests, there's no garuntee that I'll be able to go to my choice school. My grade average could still be too low.
So it's either flunk and go to the school that has more AP classes (But only three that I want o__o) that I'm in district for, or pass and go to my choice school, with all the classes I want, a teacher I'd prefer, and ALL OF MY CLOSEST FRIENDS. D; Not to mention a parking space.
I need to go study. I just wish I had known about this before there was only a few days of school left.
