In Japanese class, we are learning about interacting with store owners and buying things. To get a good grip on this, Sensei let us pair up and write a short script that involved person A buying something from person B. Since we get graded on creativity, everyone's has been pretty unique. Of course, we all stick to the "How much is that?" outline, but it's been great to see the little bits everyone comes up with.
For example! A group went today. "Welcome!" "Excuse me, but how much is that katana?" "Thirty billion yen." "Thirty billion yen?! That is too expensive!" "Idiot." "Your mama is an idiot!" "Your face is an idiot!" "Your... dog is an idiot!" (Random third person) "I'm stealing that katana!" "You b*****d!" "Go away!" "I'll pay two thousand yen for that katana." "Sold! Your change is... IDIOT!"
Unfortunately, my partner was absent today, so we have to go tomorrow. We are selling pink and blue hamburgers. C: But our script is very boring. I wanted to talk with her about spicing it up, but it's too late to change the script. I was hoping I could bring in my dinosaur plushie, and we could set it on the shelf next to the hamburgers. Then at the end she'll be all "Thank you... what is that?" "What is what" "Oh. My. God. GODZILLA!" "AH! GODZILLA!" And then we grab the hamburgers and run. x3
