I won't be customizing my fonts anymore, because its kinda troublesome for me... Having to click a few more clicks before I start typing...
Anyways, today was an eventful day that has given me a lot of thoughts. Firstly is the topic that we were on during our first period for class forum. Its about whether we students should proceed to 6 (13th grade) the next year, or just finish form 5 (12th grade) and go to college or go for pre-U. The problem of proceeding to form 6 is that we have to sit for the Additional Maths paper during SPM (O-Levels), which is what I don't want because I think that math is still annoying. My homeroom teacher explained a whole bunch of things about deciding on our future paths, what to do and what not to do, dididada... And my decision is that I will get good results in SPM and go to an art college which is THE ONE ACADEMY~~~~ tuntuntuntun~~~~ So that's for deciding my future.
Next is about the importance of English in our lives. During the English period today, our teacher made it a reading session for us to improve in English by reading. I noticed that many of my classmates have problems pronouncing even simple words such as 'comfortable'... I feel very ashamed because I'm in a private school that is very bad in English... Moreover, a friend of mine started playing ROHAN: Blood Feud and seems to have problems understanding the text in the game... Every gamer knows that in order to fully utilize his character in the game must always explore guides on the internet, so my friend went googling for guides. Guess what, he didn't understand the guide! I think it is time for the Chinese students to improve in their English no matter how tough it may be. I hope that they will be confident to open their mouths to speak in English rather than being afraid of others who laugh at them because they speak broken English. I also hope that the school I'm in now will encourage every student to speak in English, so that they will have no problems communicating with other races.
Next is about parents... This is a very serious topic because it involves every child/teenager. Parents can be very annoying at times, like what my mother did this evening annoys me till now. We all know that we ourselves get cranky when an adult asks us too many questions. This is because of our hormone imbalance that causes to be cranky sometimes. Now the problem is, parents scold you when you get cranky at them. I think they are dumb at some point because they never knew that they did the same thing to their parents when they were young, like you and me. My mom scolded me for being cranky at her so I asked her if she was cranky towards grandma too. She said 'No! The olden days people never get cranky at their mothers!' People, this is pure bullshit! My grandma told me that my mom was the most crankiest daughter in the family. I never talked to my mom since then... Sometimes parents can be very unreasonable too. They tend to bring up the past and light a fire on us, thus, the relationship between parent and child breaks in an instant. This is what my mother never understood. I really wish that she would be more understanding and not treat the home like her workplace...
