Often times I wonder
What Christmas is like in Heaven
Is there dancing?
Is there singing?
What’s it like celebrating the birth
With the King who came to save face to face?

One day I will find out
For I will be dancing too
Seeing the one who took my place
But held my hand all the way
Until I got there
And promised me eternal love
Every step of every day
Merry Christmas to you in Heaven.

Sometimes I’m sad
Sometimes I rejoice
But He still holds my hand
And He helps me through
Reminds me that I’m not alone
One day there will be no more tears
And that’s what Christmas in Heaven will be like.

One great family reunion
Seeing the ultimate gift
Seeing Him face to face
In a world beyond our comprehension
Singing with the angels
That’s what Christmas in Heaven will be like.

One day I will find see
For I will be dancing too
Seeing the one who took my place
But held my hand all the way
Until I got there
And promised me eternal love
Every step of every day
Merry Christmas to you in Heaven.

For all of those who have lost someone
And you’re thinking of them again
Hold on to Jesus
For it won’t be long
And you’ll be celebrating Christmas with them.

Until then find joy in our Savior
Our King who came to save
Promised His love and never left our side
The one who knew us before we born
And came to be with us forever
There’s still hope this Christmas season
As you miss those celebrating Christmas in Heaven
One day it will all fade away
And you too will be celebrating
Christmas in Heaven

He still holds our hand
And He helps us through
