Rose: Coffee First
Rose was too stunned to do anything about it at first. Not the portal dropping them into an inn through a roof. Not Kaku's daughter ripping his arm off and him having to go after her to get it. Not... well, a lot of things. But a sudden change like that in an A.I.? That. That was not normal.
Rose was somewhat uncertain of LISA now, but... did she just say coffee?
Rose slipped off her shoes, and the kitsunes weren't wearing any, so they followed LISA down to a table. Ordering a quick cappucino, Rose was starting to wonder why getting home always seemed like such a difficult proposition. Why hadn't she insisted Se'rox portal her home? Oh yeah- she was going to be getting married, and had things to arrange. And be with her fiance that almost died. That too.
Rose sat quietly until her coffee came, and still didn't speak until after she'd had a few good sips.
"Ok. What was that when we got here?" Rose said, taking another swig of coffee. "You know what? Nevermind. Let's go see the King with the portal and get back to Gaia."
Kyrre and the kitsunes drank some water, and were on edge- Rose could tell. They wanted to be home by now, too.

Se'rox: Wedding Planet
Se'rox couldn't tell what the others were looking at when they said they'd found the place. But she was just happy they were landing.
As Zuchax III set the ship down, Se'rox sighed in relief.
Raina followed behind Zuchax III and Se'rox as they made their way along the streets.
"Do... we even have a list?" Se'rox said, starting to become conscerned with the different types of stores in the area. She knew they needed a dress and a tux and a cake. And there were plenty of those in stores. But there were also birds, ice sculptures, flowers, horses, chairs and tables, fountains....
"Too... much." Se'rox said.
"We... we just need clothes and a cake." Zuchax III said. He didn't sound convinced.
"You sound like you could use a party planner!" a chipper voice said from a woman in a doorway nearby. She came running over- which seemed like an incredible feat considering the high heels and tight skirt she was wearing. She was moving less than a foot a step.
Se'rox raised her eyebrows. Zuchax III seemed to agree instantly.
"Thanks. You don't happen to know of any that are... well, not you?" Zuchax III asked. The woman stopped in her tracks, and Zuchax III, Se''rox and Raina kept moving on.
Soon enough though, they meandered into a cake shop. It helped that Raina announced with glee that that shop had free cake tasting. That sounded good to all of them.
After mini-slices of chocolate raspberry, coconut almond, red velvet, dark chocolate mocha, peanut butter cup, strawberry, and chocolate lime cake, Zuchax III and Se'rox were on the same brain-wave. Raina was asking for the next type of cake.
"They have those? People who plan weddings?" Zuchax III asked quietly while Raina was looking at the cake list some more.
"Sounds like they do. Can we afford to hire someone to do all this?" Se'rox asked- and then shook her head. "Wait. Can we afford for someone to be making decisions without either of us?"
Raina started squeaking suddenly. "Ooh! Ooh! They have mint chocolate chip! Can we try that next?"
Frowning back at Se'rox, Zuchax III shook his head in agreement. No, no they couldn't.
"Madame Gildion?" Se'rox called out.
The baker popped back in a moment later. "Yes?"
"We've decided on a cake. But... can you recommend a shop for a dress, a tux, and some flowers?" Se'rox asked. The woman's face contorted as if she couldn't respond so simply. "Please- just one of each. I am certain that there are shops that refer people to yours more frequently." Madame Gildion still looked as if she shouldn't narrow them down so much. "We just need someone who has a similar mind as yours." Se'rox added. "Someone who would only put out things that meet a certain standard, like you."
This honest flattery of the woman's ego (and her divine baking skills, clean shop and appearance, and work ethic) did the trick. A few minutes later, and they were leaving the shop, receipt for a cake in hand, and Raina trailing behind. Apparently, there would be no more cake-tastings, which made her slightly sad.
Zuchax III and Se'rox's tux and bridal gown shops were right next door, and the woman in the bridal shop insisted that Zuchax III was not supposed to see the dress until the day of the wedding- which sounded ridiculous to the both of them. But Raina thought it was cute.
"A surprise, why not! Can I help you pick a dress, Se'rox?" Raina asked. Se'rox agreed, and watched as Zuchax III walked out of the store and then into the tux place. Thankfully- though she wouldn't mention it to anyone- she could still "see" him.
And then, Se'rox was left to face the hundreds of gowns, with only a hyper bridesmaid and a shopkeeper to help her.
