Zak was losing. The spider had a few cuts from where it had crashed into some glass, but they were obviously nothing more than flesh wounds to the thing. The blood that dripped out bubbled like an acid, and the spider didnt seem tired at all. Zak, in comparison, was bleeding heavily out of numerous cuts and a bite mark- one which he was now positive was poisoned. "Well, there's no way Im living through this." "Damn right at that boy." A voice said from above him. Zak recognized the voice, so he didnt look. He had to watch the spider as to not become lunch. "Hey Gramps, didnt expect you to come see me." "I have to boy, its my job~" The spider saw him again, its eight eyes focused on him like he was the last donut in the box. "So, a few questions before you cant talk anymore," his Grandfather said easily. "Hrm... What kind of girl do you like?" Zak dodged out of the spider's path, but scraped his arm on a jutting piece of metal. It burned like a unholy Hell, but it was at the moment the least of his problems. "Oh, you know, Good looking, kind, maybe a little shy." The spider shot web out like a spear at him and it tore away some of the rag that had been his shirt. "Preferably someone athletic, that isnt too afraid to get their hands dirty at times." D nodded as his grandson fought the losing battle against the spider. "And animals?" he asked. "Wolves are nice, they stick with a pack and mate for life." The beast charged Zak again, probably too stupid to see the wall behind him. He dodged under it, and gave a small chuckle when the spider brained itself on the wall. "I like Hawks because their graceful flight, and foxes, mostly because I like how they're portrayed in myth. While we're at it, I'd say a dragon too, only because he'd've roasted this sonofabitch in about two seconds." His arm was burning, and he couldnt move that hand anymore. His sight was hazy, and his hearing was going. "That gives me a good idea of what you need..." D muttered as his grandson's body gave out. the spider approached, but while he knew the boy needed to expire for this next step, he'd be damned if the thing was going to get off scott free for attacking one of His own. With a glare from D, the demonic spider exploded, raining blood and insect guts everywhere. Collecting the boy's soul, just before the last sand hit, he dissappeared to collect on a favor...
