Okay, so I've been staying at my brother's house for the past 4 days to help them watch the children while they move. He has 4 kids. The girls are 13 and 2 years old, and the boys are 5 years old and 5 months old. They're terror. scream

They scream, yell, kick, hit, stomp, cry, whine, and do pretty much every other annoying little thing that a kid could do.
BUT, I get the "Auntie Angel, I love you." and the random hugs and sloppy chocolate kisses. I get the cute giggles, and harmless chases. I get to play with Play-Doh and "eat" the artificial cookies that they made for me. I get to see what it's like to be a mom.

Many mothers say that its absolutely horrifying. That nobody would ever want to go through that.
I used to be one of those people who hated kids (and everyone else for that matter), and I always wanted to be by myself. I ruled out the possibility of me having kids. I didn't want any.

But going through these past four days, being mostly alone with 4 children, has opened my eyes. It's made me realize that children bring light to your life. They're adorable and cute and they make you smile, and they have no worries. They make you feel younger. They help you to be happier. They're little bundles of joy. I love kids. heart
