Earlier today I decided that I wanted to try Netflix. I was looking for a horror movie and I saw one called Asylum. So I rolled over it and it gave me the description. It said there was a sadistic maniac doctor who performed lobotomies on his teen patients in the mental hospital.
So I was like, "This can't be good." And I was also wondering what a lobotomy was. I had heard of it before but I'd never actually read up on it, so I went to Google and typed it in. I found it on Wiki and I read all about it.

And OH DEAR GOD ALMIGHTY JESUS IN HEAVEN WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THEM?!

In the 30's, doctors used to put an ice pick through a mental patient's skull, removing the part of the brain that controls the emotions, claiming to "help" them. They were absolutely CRAZY! There is no way that making someone a vegetable for the rest of their life is helping them. Doctors said that it's a way to control their behavior and make them a little easier to be around.
They did this to people so that they didn't have to deal with them. That's ridiculous. I do believe that all the doctors that run the mental hospitals are very much demented themselves.

No need to worry, lobotomies are illegal for any doctor to perform these days. I just had to come out and say WTF.
That's a terrible thing to do to someone.
No wonder the pioneer of this surgery was shot, paralyzed, and beaten to death by his mental patients. xp
