Its Erika!
Now just yesterday i went to a local Festival called: "Pulp Summer Slam Festival '10" They hold this festival annually. And it isnt just any concert my friends!
Its a heavy metal concert! (thats right, i AM a rock fan ;D)
I went with my friend Lance, and my brother and his 5 friends! From what i saw, i looked like the youngest out of the whole 30,000 or more people in the stadium! Everyone was wearing black and piercings and mohawks the whole sha-bam! (and i just HAPPENED to be wearing a blue flowery shirt, which wasn't the best choice -_-) Though some of them were really nice smile
Now why did we go to this festival? To see one of our favorite bands from America play of course! They're called Lamb of God (no there not a hillsong church choir) their songs are awesome you should check it out!
anyway before LOG can play, we have our local bands playing: Sandwich, Pedicab, Kamikaze, a London band called FireFallDown. And another American band called Testament!
What made this festival amazing is that before Lamb of God and Testament went on, everyone started throwing Pepsi bottles in the air! (Plastic of course ;D) it was a full on war! It was a beautiful yet slightly dangerous sight! as we tried to dodge all the bottles (i got hit three times, 2 on the head, 1 on the a**.) It was surprisingly an incredibly fun experience. Though next time, we're going VIP.
Though what scared me the most was that as soon as Lamb of God came on, we were caught in the middle of a forming mosh pit! During our somewhat painful and tough haste to get out of the most pit two of my brothers friends lost their phones (thats the philippines for ya!) But even so, they seemed happy as they had finally come to see their fav metal band perform (and my brother too! He was shaking with excitement!)
Being a foot away from a most pit is actually extremely awesome!!!
The festival was actually supposed to last till 3am, but we left as soon as Lamb of God was done (i need my sleep ya know?)
But that is a day i will NEVER forget!
