It felt like falling, Zak decided. As he 'fell', he felt certain parts of his consciousness shutting down, and it felt decidedly unpleasent.
"Well, thats rebirth for you." Natural said, appearing next to him.
"So you can read my mind now?" Zak asked snidely. This wasnt exactly what he'd been told would happen.
"To an extent. Your mind is closing off the portions that would injure your psyche as a child. Now, a more in depth explanation of whats gonna happen."
"Okay..."
"You will incarnate into a child, and be raised according to the structures of that society. When you reach about 15 years old everything will unlock."
Zak looked at him unamused, and Natural continued.
"Right now, its no big deal, but some worlds follow different sets of rules. Abilities in one dont exist in another and so on, so any training you get is a good idea, especially if its physical. I think that covers it for now. Anything you wanna know?"
"If I stab you in the face, will it hurt? Because I really want to stab you in the face right now."
"Maybe later, after you die."
In the month of June, under the star of the Dragon, a baby boy came into existence. Born with a both red and blue eye, one was bound with the abilities known to them at the time..... He grew steadily, nothing else amiss....
