Title Page

Kira Daile was taking notes in her NJROTC class. They had a test the next day, and they were doing a cram session to catch up to the other classes.

As she doodled on her notebook paper, she saw a ball of fluff on the outside window sill. She stopped and looked at it. It was a ball of air fluff, and it had friends; Gramsters.

Well, isn't that just lovely. Kira thought. The prankster with the Animated is now in Freepot.

She continued taking notes, keeping one eye on the Animated. Something just didn't feel right about them...

Then one of them managed to break the window. Everyone in the classroom looked, thus letting the Animated know that they were noticed.

Then they attacked. When this happened, Kira knew that they were very real. These creatures were not prank; they were hell-bent Animated looking for lunch.

Well, they're not gonna get it! Kira thought. She started whacking at a bunch of Gramsters with her NJ book, backing up to the unlocked arms room.

Once she got in, she dropped the book and grabbed a rifle shape and started hitting the Animated with all her strength, via the butt of the rifle. So far, it looked like it was effective, but she knew that they weren't going to stop.

Then everything seemed to freeze as a man with a violet coat, unbuttoned black shirt, and blood red pants and boots came storming in with shruikan at the ready. In seconds, the attacking Animated were annihilated, but more came undeterred.

The man turned to Kira, handing her a black box with the G-Corp symbol on it. He was gorgeous; light brown hair, Japanese features, and a smooth voice to go with the exquisite looks.

"I don't have much time. By now, Shadows10000, I'm sure you know that the Animated have infiltrated this world." He said. "In that box are your PDA and Rings from Gaia. Once you open it, You'll be able to fight these things." A loud shriek came from one of the upper levels. "I have to go. And you have to fight!" And he ran out the door.

Time was moving again. The Animated were still attacking, and Kira had her way to attack in her hands. She made her decision without hesitation. Kira opened the box, grabbed the PDA and rings. She slipped the PDA onto her belt, and the six rings onto her fingers--a decidedly offensive lineup: Hot Foot, Guns Guns Guns, Fire Rain, Turtle, Meat, and Keen Aye.

Once the rings were securly on her fingers, the G-Corp box dematerialized and the rings fused to her skin, creating a seal between her and the weapons. Once the seal was there, Kira watched as her jeans and Fullmetal Alchemist t-shirt morphed into her Gaia avatar--Gothic Veil dress, violet combat boots, Gothic Butterfly wings, the Snow Queen gloves, Jack's Bat Clip headband, crimson Lolita hair, darkened ashen skin, and the tattoos that adorned her on the Internet. Looking in the mirror, Kira saw that she had become a Dark Elf, the same as her Gaia avatar.

Her rings were glowing. Well, only one way to find out if this is real, Kira thought, clenching her fist. "TAKE THIS!!" She shouted.

Immedeatly, the Animated in front of her burst into flame, leaving only little piles of dust behind. Kira stumbled. Damn, must have used too much energy, she thought as she regained her composure.

She turned to the Animated attacked a group of her fellow Cadets. They were fighting back against the things, but were losing. Activating another ring, Kira shouted, "Get out of the way!" And started shooting.

The long-range weapon was far more effective. After a time, the classroom was purged of the things. And Kira was exhausted. "It's nothing like online," she mumbled.

"Where did Daile go...?" One of the male Cadets asked. Kira looked down at herself. Apparently, more than just her clothes had changed; so had her entire outward appearance. She was tall and slender now, not the shortish, heavy-built girl of half an hour ago. But the physical and Ghi exertion was getting to her....She was tired.

Then her PDA started beeping. "Twilight-Crystalblade nearby." It said. Biting her lip, Kira shot out the door, into the disaster zone that was the hallway.

She had just flung herself into Hell.
