He opened the letter slowly to have two letters fall out then a silver stone. One letter was for nikki and one was for him, but the stone was just there. Handing Nikki hers and opening his he started reading it aloud for Nikki to hear. “Thank you for getting the pendant this stone will protect you both and it will help you a lot since I know there will be harsh things after you. Good luck to you both I trust you both with this power”
Slowly opening her letter up she was surprised to see there were only three words printed on the whole page. “it only says stone opens gate” she said handing Volroc the letter so he could check it out himself.
Looking at the rock closer he could see a symbol on it that was faded, he remember it from his flashback it was on one of the many doors, it was a symbol with many stars circling one another. Such a beautiful symbol he thought to himself. “This is a piece we need” he said without realizing he spoke it.
“how do you know that?” she asked suspiciously, but just nodded her head and continued looking at the pendant that still hung around her neck.
When everything started to get quiet a loud thump came from the door like it was just hit by something going a hundred miles an hour. They both jumped to the sound then rushed to open the door to see what was there.
A loud gasp came from Nikki’s throat as she saw Lei laying on the ground with fresh scratches all over her face. “what happened!”
“Volroc didn’t say anything just reacted by picking her up and bringing her into the room to lay her on the bed. “Lei, speak to me” he said trying to make sure she was still alive. As soon as her fingers started to move they were both relieved. “nikki go get some water she looks dehydrated” he said pointing towards the small kitchen.
“What…happened…?” Lei whispered trying to sit up but falls onto a pillow. “Why can’t I move” she said a little bit louder. As nikki brought in a glass of cold water handing it to Lei. “thank you” she said then drank the water till there was nothing left.
Nikki looked at her arm where she had seen something glowing before but nothing was there not even I tiny spot. “What are you starring at?” Lei said noticing Nikki looking at her again. Then turning back to Volroc with the empty glass “if its not too much trouble can I have some more water?”
“sure” he said grabbing the glass and walking to the kitchen.
“ok I get your little game but we arnt going to fall for it!” nikki said as sharply as she could without being heard from the other room. Lei looked up at nikki with a smile that she could never forget. She sensed evil coming from every part of her, especially from her eyes.
