Chapter 1: As she walked over to the now lifeless body lying right in front of her with tears streaming down her face. What have I done? She thought to herself. How could I have done this with my own hands?
She looked down at her hands that were covered with blood, why did I have to react like that? "I hate when that happens!" She screamed as she punched a near by brick wall. “Why must I act like this!” She screamed again, her eyes turning a glowing bright red.
“It’s not your fault” said a voice behind her, after hearing it she froze in place hoping she was just hearing things. Then she felt a hand land on her shoulder that caused her to stiffen up. A burst of laughter came from behind her where the hand was coming from. “Ill just leave you be and maybe ill come around again.” Then the hand disappeared from her shoulder.
“I can never get used to that” she said to herself while shaking her head. “I’m such an idiot” She said now walking away from the body.
It’s been seven years since the accident and I’ve never fully healed from the emotional pain. But now I’m in a group of eight that have the same problem as me, we are all just “different” as people here say it. We have to stick together but I hate it when they just appear right behind me unexpectedly.
“HEY! WAIT UP!” someone shouted from the opposite direction that she was facing. She turned around faster than she planned, faster than any normal person could ever be able to do. There a young boy was running to catch up to her, but to her he was going very slow considering she could move faster than maybe even the speed of light.
When the boy finally reached her he saw an annoyed look on her face. “Who are you and what do you want?” She said sharply. He wouldn’t answer her, he was too focused on her still glowing red eyes. “Answer me now or I walk away” She threatened. He looked at her with fear growing in his eyes and just stood there.
“I’m leaving” She said turning and walked away faster than the boy could snap out of the Trans he was in.
Where am I going? She thought to herself not paying any attention at all of where she was walking and where she already was. “Why do I have to be different?” she thought out loud hoping no one was around to hear her.
“There you are Nikki I’ve been looking everywhere for you, who knew that I would find you here. Why are you here nikki?” said Sebastian, one of the eight people in their small group. She looked up at the 17 year old boy to see him standing on a roof looking very worried.
