:*SPOILERS*:
Alright, am I the only one that thought Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was a total flub?
I understand that they have to take certain parts out so that they can get the gist of the story in a three hour period but they take all of the good stuff out and add bogus parts like Harry running in a field after Bellatrix, and Ginny running after Harry, and everyone else following so that the Weasley's house can burn to the ground.
WHAT THE HELL?!!??!
And what's up with Borgin? In the book he's afraid of Draco's dark mark...he's not in league ,per say, with Voldemort, he's just a sniveling little creeper who deals with dark wizards.
Wasn't Dumbledore supposed to pick Harry up at the Dursley"s and explain the first few chapters of the seventh book to Harry's aunt and uncle. What was with the cafe?!?! AND they're playing Quidditch in the snow for goodness sake! They're wizards! Not polar bears! But I guess snow makes it more...interesting? I mean I understand if it was a few flakes in November, but this is a full on January storm here.
Now I don't know what you think but I believe that the director and everyone else working on the past four movies are just getting a wee bit too artistic for the story. I don't know what the whole hay field Burrow burning scene was supposed to symbolize and I don't care. All I saw were some idiots trying to create some drama.
Speaking of drama, was it just me or was Snape's "I'm the Half-Blood-Prince." a little anti-climatic. They should have focused a little bit more on potions class and the Half-Blood-Prince, as was done in the book, so that people got a little bit more curious as to who this joker was INSTEAD of going head on into Harry and Ginny's love life.
I mean sure...I get it, love is awesome, but that is not what the story is about. I don't mind the funny little anecdotes put into the movie...it doesn't have to be word for word...I get it...it's not the book...it's the movie, understood. But honestly it was a mess.
Only the first three maybe four movies were any good. That is to say, only about 52% of these movies was wrong or messed up or bended. I think that these people should be informed that the movies aren't popular because it's a good movie (which, of course it is if you haven't read the books.) but because you have millions of Potter fans who will go see it and hate that they messed it up, but go and see it anyway because people like to see the magic in action put the magic factor in with the fact that they use real people that we read about in magazines on a day to day basis together and everyone's favorite magical world suddenly becomes a little bit more real.

It's really whatever I feel inclined to write about.
