The stare of a lover
And a chill down a spine
The worlds got a plan but no one knows what
We just have to wait and see what comes of us
But there’s always
The death of a heart
The moving of a soul
And the relationship ends
With no signs
But the world still spins,
Passed you and passed the stillness of that moment
Passed that feeling of pain
Passed that break in that voice
Passed the tears in some eyes
Passed that stare of a lover
And passed the moment of peace before
But the sun still shines
People move on
And you’re still alive
Step out of that shadow
Step into the heat
Across the bridge of the past
