Silence
As I walk through the night,
blade in my hand,
looking for the one who'll set me free.
I have walked alone for ever,
and now,
now I seek your guidence.
I walk, silently into your camp.
Almost, stalking my prey.
I see him, the one you hold so dear,
and yet hold so far away from you.
You see me,
I see you too,
he sees me,
and afraid he runs.
I chase him blade close.
As he runs,
he stops for foregiveness.
Yet, I'm not as foregiving as you.
I draw the blade close to his heart,
and strike, strike my fatal blow.
As I watch his life fade away from his eyes,
he askes my why?
I tell him:
it's for her screams to be silent,
once again.
I walk back, sword in hand,
blood as my clothing,
she sees why I had to do it,
and what she has to do next.
As I let the blade rest on my head,
I can feel the screams once more.
I ask for it to end,
now, its gone, and my silent screams fill the air.
