The sun was rising in the sky above her. All Riley remembered from the night before was tripping in the forest she woke up in. She didn't know where she was, or why she was running. She didn't remember anything. She had bruises and scratches, but she couldn't tell if they were there before she had blacked out or not. She was alone and scared. She turned her body so that she was on her back and laid down on the forest floor.
Slowly, snippets of memories came back from the night before. Not all, but enough to get a general idea. She was running from someone. He, or she, Riley couldn't remember, was dressed in dark hunting clothing. They had a knife on their waist and a gun in their hands. Riley somehow had broken away from them. She had something the person wanted. She wasn't sure if there were more of them. One thing she knew was true.
She was in danger.
