It all started on that day.
It was the hot summer day, Friday, the last day of the week and the start of the weekend. Finally.
I lived along the beautiful, but deserted, pathway with cherry blossom tress on each side. They weren’t bloomed because it was summer but when it’s spring, it’s some sight to see. It’s like pink delicate snow falling everywhere, except not as cold and they don’t melt.
As I walked down to my house, I realized instantly something was going on, and something wasn’t right. There was this guy who was yelling at my family. At first, I thought it was the landlord who came for the money we owe her for the house we live in.
The thing is, we used to live in an apartment that we could afford, but I have a twin biovular brother and sister, Danny and Danielle, and they’re only in Gr. 2. So what else would they do other than run around, and play and everything little kids do? But the landlord person got really mad at our family that we’re disturbing the other resident in the apartment, so we decided to go live in a house with a big front and backyard where my siblings and my dog, Winnie, could have fun and play.
But the thing is, we didn’t have enough money to afford this kind of big house and the beautiful view with the pathway and all, and the front and backyard this big. But the person who owned this house was kind enough to let us pay monthly.
But it couldn’t have been the owner of this house. Because I’ve met her before and she was really, really kind and nice about it. And I don’t think she’s the type of person who would send people after other people to pay their debt.
Then I realized something was definitely wrong here. They were all on the ground, Danny and Danielle were crying into my mom’s chest and my dad trying to calm them down. I started to run towards them, only to almost lose my balance from the previous bullying today.
After I regained my balance, my head was really dizzy, I glanced up, only to see a gun pointed at my family by the guy. I almost screamed of terror.
