Alone in her solitude
The friends she once had are no longer
She’s back to the way she was before
Alone in the journey we call life
But what makes life some may ask
Life is a world filled with hope, love, and friendship
Over flowing with the good times and the bad
Without these elements there is no life
Solitude
Without hope for escape
Solitude
No longer daring to love
Solitude
Friendships are chased away
Solitude
She’s alone fenced in by her own selfishness
Walls thrown up to protect her form everything
Friends run to the four winds
Love dies a violent death
Hopes are shattered like glass mirrors
Frozen in her broken state
No heart to give
No shoulder to cry on
No hope to spare
Broken and in Solitude
Stilled in her sorrow
Regretting tomorrow
Before its morning dew
Bleeding from the heart
With no trace of life left
She lays broken on the battle field
Confined to her solitude
Life stripped from her very body
Scarred with wounds from the past
Silence is the only tune
Death lies in wait for the perfect time
To pounce and take her life
Never having the chance to fight back or the will too
She lies not wanting to go on after all that’s happened
Death seems her only escape
With blood trickling form the gash in her side
She starts to drift off into the darkness
But the thud of hoof beats catches her ear
Intently she listens to the hoof beats approach
Her eyes are closed tight as the sun beats down
A shadow covers her face
She opens her eyes
There looming above her is a knight
All black is his armor
He removes his black cloak
Wrapping her tenderly as to not hurt her
He lifts her from the battle field all covered in blood
With tender care places her side saddle upon his steed
He mounts up behind her cuddling her to his breast
They ride to the safety of his home
There he nurses her back to health
Caring for her now is his only concern
Days fly by until she is full healed
She, like he, is falling in love
They now ride the battle fields together
Her white steed gleaming with light like her
His black steed glossy with his darkness
Riding hand in hand
Through the battle plain
One year passes
They ride together still
Hand in hand through the battle fields
But something has changed
A son and daughter ride with them
Saving lives
Losing lives
Breaking lives
Loving lives
Together as a family
All this started with Solitude
A broken angel
A heartless demon
The friends she once had are no longer
She’s back to the way she was before
Alone in the journey we call life
But what makes life some may ask
