Don't just think of yourself when you guys go on a date think of the other person too, afterall their opinion matters just as much as yours and maybe more. Think of something different, don't do what everyone else does: be unique, do things that people have never heard of. If someone say something bad about them stand up for them even if they are not around. The very thought of someone badmouthing the person you love should be enough to upset you, so do your best to protect that person physically and verbally.
