"Oh, that boy is cute", "Damn, that girl is on fire"...heard of those phrases before? It's what other people thinks openly about someone that walks by, it is not unheard of when someone falls in love at first sight, but do you know them? Are they a transvestite? Do they have an uncurable disease that will kill them within a month? You don't know these things unless you know that person, that's why you should spend time with someone that you chose to like until you are certain you want to date them, and also your friends don't decide for you, if they say "I don't like him/her" who cares, as long as you like them then it's ok, you don't want your friend to chose for you because they might chose someone that they're familiar with and not someone you like, also just because they are good looking doesn't make them the one you like, the feeling you get from at first may be, but just remember this: You are not the only one liking that person and if and only if you're good friends with that person or has standards almost exactly like theirs then you would stand a chance. Another thing: Personality, you would want to go for someone that has a similar personality to yours, interests too if thats possible or else in the future you two will have conflicting differences.

...No one chooses for you...you have to choose that person yourself...
