Of course I could stand a room full of snakes and be just fine, but it is so hard for me to talk to Cameron. I could talk to a serial killer and be just fine, but when I go to say something to him I can't breathe. The only time I can say anything is when I yell at him. Or when I tease him by calling him Cam-moron or His Idiocy. What is wrong with me? When he starts the conversation I can talk back just fine, but when I try to talk my words disapear. I give myself some courage to talk to him and when I see his face my courage is lost to elsewhere.
Around Christmas time this year drama club was cancled because of the play going on. You see Cameron was acting in it and Liz and I had to stay because our parents couldn't pick us up. So the two of us were bored and decided to just walk around the school. As we were walking we saw Cameron and James back stage waiting for their next instructions. They were just messing sround and Cameron says
"Hunner, Liz, come here."
So the two of us walk up all sassy like and say "What?"
"Come here, I want to see if I can pick up Hunner."
So I go over there put my arms around his neck, he puts his hand on the middle of my back and goes to grab my knees and...Drops me. The only reason I didn't drop to the floor was because my arms were still around his neck, but I almost brought him to the floor too.
Well the next day Ash and Liz were walking with James (Camerons best friend) and some how got on to the subject of dropping me.
So Liz asks "Why did Cameron drop Hunter?"
James: "He was afraid to touch her butt."
Ash: "Isn't that every guys dream?"
James: "To touch Hunter's butt?"
Ash: "No. To touch a girls butt."
James: "No."
And still I feel so different from the rest. As if I don't belong with the people who I hang out with any more. I need to find a place on a brick wall to bang my head.
