“What did he mean by that?” asked Camy “I don’t know.” replied Eien. “Where are we?” asked Camy, louder than before. Now she was scared. “I don’t know!!” yelled Eien. Camy started panting. She thought about being in the middle of the ocean. No food. No water. Then Camy started to shake. Eien noticed her shaking and hard breathing. “Are you ok?” he asked. “No” she replied, “No food. No water.” “Well where are the paddles?” asked Eien. He looked at Camy as she put her head down. “There are no paddles, are there?” he asked softly. Camy shook her head, “I didn’t get the boat finished.” she said sadly, not as shaky as she as before. Eien filled up with rage. He was so mad the his ears turned red. He wanted to scream at her, but then he thought it was his fault. If he was paying more attention, the Captain would not have got her. Or if he beat ‘ Juto’ faster, he could have caught the Captain before the Captain caught Camy. Either way, what happened has happened, and all they can do is take what’s been thrown at them. “It’s ok,” said Eien, “What do we…” Then Eien stopped. He heard something. “What’s wrong Eien?” asked Camy worriedly. “I hear something.” said Eien “I don’t hear anything.” said Camy. “SSHHHHH…..” said Eien as he looked over the side of the boat. The water was calm until a large turtle head came up out of the water and almost bit Eien. The head was about as big as a watermelon, if not bigger! “Oh no.” said Eien “What?” asked Camy. “No time to explain. JUMP!!” Eien yelled. He grabbed Camy’s hand and jumped off the boat dragging Camy along with him. “I can’t swim.” said Camy, still being drug along by Eien. “Get on my Back!” he yelled. As Eien looked back, he saw the ‘sea turtles’ eat their boat. Camy got on his back. She was lighter than he thought she was. When Camy got a grip to be sure she wouldn’t fall off, Eien swam like he never swam before! Eien noticed a huge rock ahead through the fog. “Are you ok?” asked Eien short of breath. “Yes,” she replied softly, “it’s cold” “Don’t worry, we’re almost there.” assured Eien. “Ok” said Camy. Eien was tired. He wasn’t sure how much longer he could swim. Finally he reached an area where he could touch the ground. From there he began to walk. When he reached the point where the water was to his ankles, he collapsed. “Eien……Eien!” yelled Camy. She quickly got off of Eien. Then she grabbed Eien’s arms and drug him out of the water. “Eien?” she said. She propped his head up on her lap. “Eien?” she said again lightly slapping his face. “Eien.” she said sadly with tears coming to her eyes. “Why….Why did you save me? Why did you carry me on your back? Why?” screamed Camy, staring into the stars in the night sky. “Be……..cause I had to” said Eien slowly. “Eien.” Camy said with excitement, “Your ok.” Eien looked up at her. He brought up his hand and gently wiped away the tear that was running her left cheek. Camy gently stroked his hair. “I’m ok. What about you?” he asked. “I’m fine.” she said with a big smile on her face. Eien slowly sat up and started coughing. Camy got up on her knees and hugged him so tight, he coughed even more, which actually helped him to get the water out of his lungs. “Thank you. You saved my life.” Said Camy “Don’t worry about it.” said Eien, lightly touching her hands that were stretched across his stomach, “When we get out of here, I’ll give you swimming lessons.” Eien and Camy both laughed, then Camy looked out to where the boat was. “Those creatures. They looked like sea turtles, but I didn’t know sea turtles were so….territorial!!” acknowledged Camy. Eien thought about what Camy said, then realized the truth. “The reason those creatures attacked us is cause we’re in the Demon Realm.” explained Eien. Camy couldn’t believe it. “What!? How did we get here?” Now she was getting nervous. “Captain Kyto must have brought us here.” suggested Eien. “But wait,” said Camy, “I thought humans didn’t know how to get here?” “What if the Captain was a demon.” said Eien, “That would explain everything. He brought us here. And that means Demons have found a way to transport themselves back and forth through the realms.” “And that’s not good, right?” asked Camy. “Of course not!!” said Eien rolling his eyes. “Name one way where it’s good to have demons invading humans?” “So how did you get to the Human Realm?” asked Camy curiously. “Well Eli left his research in the Demon Realm. My mom hid it and when I found it, she explain that it was possible to pass between Realms. She didn’t want me to go after him.” “Oh.” said Camy, “So now what?” “Well,” replied Eien, “Lets get inside. Maybe we can this Demon Lord can help us.” “Demon Lord!?” yelled Camy, “Why would we want to meet a Demon Lord? What if he eats us?” Eien busted out laughing. “What’s so funny?” asked Camy “Well for starters, a demon, let alone a Demon Lord, would not eat a human. Second, he could help up. Just trust me ok?” said Eien. “Well I thought you got to the Human Realm, why can’t we get there now?” asked Camy. “All the research is with my mom. First we have to find out where we are and find a way to get there if you want to go home.” Eien stood up, stretching a little, then held out a hand to pull Camy up on her feet. “Ok, I trust you.” She said. She gave him her hand, and he pulled up. When they turned around, away from the water, the fog slowly started to clear. When the fog was completely gone, it reveled this large rock they stood on was just a vary small part of a huge mountain. “So where dose this ‘Demon Lord’ live?” asked Camy. “Up there.” replied Eien pointing to the top of the mountain. “I was afraid you were going to say that.” said Camy. Eien smiled and said, “Come on.” As they started up the mountain, it had occurred to Camy that neither of them knew there was a mountain with a Demon Lord at the top behind them. So how did Eien know there was one here? Camy decided to ask. “How did you know there was a Demon Lord here?” she asked “I didn’t,” replied Eien. “You see there is a lot of land in the Demon Realm. And there isn’t one pieces of land not owned by a Demon Lord. So there had to be a Demon Lord somewhere around here.” Camy nodded. It made since If there was any other was he knew of this Demon Lord, he would know who it is. But he doesn’t seem to know at all. “How much further?” complained Camy. “We’re almost half way there.” Eien smiled at the simple human. “Do you want on my back again?” he asked. “No, I couldn’t.” she answered, “Not after what just happened back there in the water.” “Don’t worry about it. My demon side allows me to heal fast, and your light. I could run up the mountain with you in my back.” Eien insisted. “Ok” said Camy, finally giving up. Just as he said he could, Eien started running up the mountain1 Before she knew it, they were ¾ the way up there. Eien just kept going. Camy was a little bit heavier by the weight of her wet dress. “Aren’t you tired?” asked Camy, feeling a little chilly. “Nah. I’ve handle worse than this.” Eien replied. Camy couldn’t believe his endurance. She was getting tired just watching him, riding on his back. When they finally reached the top, there was this cave, long and dark. “I think this is it.” said Eien. “It’s so dark, how will we see?” asked Camy, climbing off Eien’s back. “Well if you look closely, there’s dim light in the cave. If we make it there, we should be fine.” said Eien cautiously. “If?” said Camy. “Don’t worry, I won’t let anything happen to……” Eien stopped and smiled. “Thanks for carring me.” said Camy blushing. “No problem.” replied Eien, “Now lets get giong and stay against the wall.” “Why against the wall?” asked Camy “Well, since there is no light here, there’s most likely a pit or hole, or some kind of trap/” explained Eien. Camy wasn’t going to argue him. She never really thought about it, but what he said made sence. So against the wall they stayed. Then Camy heard rolling stones across the ground. “AHH! Damn it!” yelled Eien “Eien, are you ok?” Asked Camy. “…….ya. There’s loose stones here. Be careful. Here, let me help.” Eien heldout his hand. After feeling around for his hand in the dark, she found it, and he held her hand as she crossed the area with loose rocks so Camy didn’t fall. Once they got passed that, everything got brighter and more visible. They could see the rocks and the torch creating the light inside the cave and each other. “Well that was fun!” said Eien sarcastically. Camy shook her head. Then she noticed Eien’s knee bleeding. “Your leg,” she said, “Is that from the rocks?” she asked curiously. Eien looked down at his knee, “Oh,….ya. Don’t worry about it.” Eien said Calmly. “It’s looks like your bleeding a lot!” said Camy. “Remember, my demon side. It will bwe fine.” said Eien assuringly. “Ok, so where are we?” asked Camy. “I have no idea. I guess we keep walking.” said Eien. Camy didn’t like the sound of that, but did so anyways. Once they reached the fire, they took a right and rounded the corner. Then Eien stopped. “Whats wrong?”asked Camy suspuiously. “I have a bad feeling,” replied Eien, “this might be a trap.” Camy thought a moment, then said, “:but there were no other ways we could go. This was the only way.” “Your right.” he said, “Maybe it’s just me. But if it is a trap, there’s no other faster way to see the Demon Lord then getting captured” Camy laughed as they started walking forward. “I guess not.” said Camy. As they started down the ’hallway’, Camy got this uneasy feeling like she was being watched. She quickly tured around to see if anyone was there. There was no one. She looked back again to double check, not knowing Eien was checking it out too. “So I’m not the only who senced it?” asked Eien. “If you mean like someone is watching us, then no, your not the only one.” said Camy shaking her head. With that, answer, they bothtook off running, side by side. When they reached an area where there were clay masks on each wall. Each one had it’s own expresstion and style. And yet, they were pretty creep. They slowed down to walk, Camy needed to catch her breath. Suddenly, Camy notcied something flying at them. Eien noticed it too. As it came closer, both Camy and Eien realized it was a clay mask, like those that were on the walls. Camy and Eien ducked to avoid the mask. When they turned around, they saw the mask crash into the wall and shater into pieces. “What was all that about?”asked Camy. “I don’t know,” replied Eien, “But now, I know who this Demon lord is.” How do you know?” asked Camy. “There is only one Demon Lord known to use clay masks as a weapon.” Eien said looking at Camy, “Butoro.” Camy gasped. Eien said, “ I guess Captain Kyto over heard us talking on the ship. That’s why he said you would sell more! He was going to sell you to the Demon Lord!!” With that said, the masks came off the wall. They slowly turned to Camy and Eien. Then they attacked. Maks coming at them left and right. Camy ducked, but Eien choose to fight them. He kicked and punched and kicked and punched. After a few minutes, Eien stopped , as did the masks. “This is getting us no where.” said Eien. Camy stood up beside him, “Now whay?” she asked. Eien leaned on the wall the masks cornered them against. Somehow, the wall opened and Eien fell. As he fell, he grabbed Camy, taking her down with him. Eien pulled her in close and hugged her tightly as they fell. The fall seemed to never end, but then Eien senced the floor aporching fast. “Hand on!” He yelled. Then Eien hit the ground, with Camy on top of him. He was still hugging her tight. She was scared and had tears in her eyes when Eien wasn’t moving. “E--Eien?” she said looking up slowly. “Y--Ya?” he said. Camy looked up, “Good” she said softly with tears still in her eyes, “I thought….for sure….” she stopped and just hugged him. “I was so scared.” she said. “It’s ok,” He told her softly, “I said I wouldn’t let anything happen.” “AAAHHHHAAAA!!!!!” came a deep voice behind Camy, “I knew the Demonic Prophacy was true.” Camy whipped around and saw four gleaming eyes staring at both her and Eien. Slowly, this four-eyed creature stepped into the light. Eien looked at the large creature. “You must be the Demon Lord, Butoro.” The creature laughed with a big, deep voice, “Haha. Your are correct young demon. I am Butoro.” “What prophecy were you talking about?” asked Eien. :Ya, and why did you request to see ME?” asked Camy. The Demon Lord laughed again, “haha. Let me show you. Follow me.” Camy looked at Eien. “Do we go?” she whispered softly. Eien nodded, “Yes, we should. He wanted you here for a reason, something to do with the Demon Realm. This could be vary important.” Camy nodded, “I guess so.” she said. Camy wasn’t sure what to do, but Eien had a point so she went with him to get their questions answered. Eien and Camy followed the huge Demon Lord in silence. Butoro lead them into a room with a large tapestry. “This is the Demonic Prophacy.” sadi Butoro with his big, deep voice.
