This story starts on a Pirate Ship where Eien is stowed away. After being on the ship for over a week, Eien made a plan to escape, but when he tried to put his plan into action, something happened that he didn’t plan on. The Captain, Captain Kyto, who was an unusually large old man with a grey moustache and beard that covered his face and had dark, gloomy eyes, came into where Eien was being held, below deck somewhere, with a young girl who was squirming and kicking as the Captain held her by the back of her dress. The Captain, annoyed with the girl constant squirming, shook her to try to get her to stop. As he shook her, the young girl opened her mouth and let out a horrifying scream of fear that hit Eien like a brick wall. As the Captain winced, he smacked her in the face in the face and threw her in the same cage as Eien. Eien watched as the Captain grunted at the girl and slammed the door behind him. Eien looked at the girl who curled herself up right where she landed after the Captain’s throw. She looked pretty young and had a nice dress that was dirty and had rips and tares in it. Eien sitting on the ground, scooted a little closer to the girl. When she noticed him getting closer, she moved over into a corner. When Eien kept coming closer, she said in the calmest voice, “Stop. Go away.” Eien looked at her weird and said, “I’m not going to hurt you.” When she heard that, she looked at him with a sad face and a bloody lip from when the Captain hit her. When she looked at him, she noticed he was just a boy, not much older then her, if at all. But he seemed different from other boys her age. She wanted to trust him, but she wasn’t trusting anyone she just met. She looked into his stormy eyes as her bleeding lip caused blood to run down her chin. On top of being sad and bleeding, she was scared. Who knew what kind of treatment she went through before she reached this horrible ship, thought Eien. By looking at her dress, her treatment didn’t look good. “I’m Eien” he said sticking out his hand. He didn’t want her to be scared. “I….I’m Conamy.” she said quietly, while keeping her hands to herself. She turned away from Eien. Eien drew back his hand, convinced he wasn’t going to get a handshake. “So, Conamy, can I call you Camy?” She reacted to the name, and slowly turned to him. She stared at him for a minute and gave a small and quick smile while nodding to answer his question. Camy’s quick smile caused her pain and more bleeding. When Eien saw this, he smiled and ripped a chunk of cloth from him shirt. He checked to make sure there was no dirt and headed closer to her. Camy curled up into a ball again. “Let me help you.” said Eien in a soft voice. Camy couldn’t handle the pain in her lip much longer, so she ‘uncurled’ and faced Eien. He smiled and said, “Hold still.” Eien leaned over and tapped her lip with the cloth as Camy winced. “Did that hurt?” Eien asked. “No” she replied quietly, and Eien continued. After he cleaned up the running blood, he drizzled some water onto the cloth to get it wet and finished cleaning her lip. As Eien cleaned Camy’s lip, she watched, and studied him. Eien was covered in dirt and roughed up. Camy looked at his arms. He looked really strong. He had a tight shirt the had a few holes in it. Eien also had long pants and was wearing black boots that she had never seen before. Camy’s heart wanted to trust him right away, but she didn’t know if he was like the crew on this ship. He seemed really nice, and that gave him some points. “Ok done. Better?” asked Eien. Camy nodded again, “Yes, thank you.” she replied. Then Eien noticed her staring at his food, he was served dinner before Camy arrived there. “Are you hungry?” Eien asked. Camy quickly turned and looked away from Eien’s food. “You can have some if you want.” said Eien pushing his food toward her, “I’m not going to eat anymore.” Camy looked at him wide eyed, “Are you sure?” Eien smiled and nodded. A huge smiled appeared on Camy’s face. “I have to warn you though,” said Eien, “It’s not vary good.” Camy acted like she didn’t hear him and dug right in. As she dug in, she couldn’t identify what is was. It didn’t look like anything she would eat. When she took the first bite, she stopped to see what it really tastes like. It was awful, just like Eien said, but she didn’t care. She was hungry. When she finally finished, Eien looked at her and said, “Are you full now?” Camy nodded. “How long has it been since you ate any food?” asked Eien getting a little curious. “I don’t know.” Camy said sadly “Ok, well how did you get here?” Eien asked, trying to learn more. Camy’s head sunk at the sound of the question, “A Demon Lord made a request to see me. Butoro was the name. I didn’t want to, but the towns’ people forced me to go. Butoro sent coordinates to meet in the middle of the ocean. On our way, this ship stopped us. The captain of our boat, Captain O’Bryan, was said to owe money to the Captain of this ship.” “That’s why I’m here! He said I owed him money.” interrupted Eien. “Did you?” asked Camy “Not that I know of.” replied Eien, “Go on with your story.” Camy nodded and continued, “Well, Captain O’Bryan really did owe him money. Just to save their own necks, Captain O’Bryan and the crew members sold me to this ship. So here I am.” Camy finished sadly but she felt better being able to open up a little. She would go into more detail, but she didn’t want to relive what she went through before reaching the cage. “Do you know why Butoro wanted to see you?” asked Eien. “No, not really. All he said was something about the Demon Realm. I didn’t know there was one. Let alone a ‘Demon Lord‘” said Camy. Eien gave her a sideways look. “You can’t tell?” asked Eien. Camy looked at him confused, “What do you mean?” she asked. Eien turned his head and pulled back his shinny blue grey hair that framed his gentle face and covered his ears. When Eien moved his hand, he showed his pointed elf-like ears. “I’m a demon.” he said. Camy was surprised to hear this but at the same time, it seemed like she knew he was a demon a the whole time. She just looked at him. She didn’t know what to say. She only read about Demons. She often read fantasy books that had Demon, Dragons and Witches and other ‘fairy tale’ creatures. Finally she asked, “Why do you look so much like a human?” Eien paused then said, “it’s a long story.” “I’m not going anywhere.” said Camy, “But you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to.” Eien paused again, “My mother was a demon. My father, a human.” started Eien, “I guess a human named Eli learned how to enter the Demon Realm. He had a great plan, but he didn’t think of how to get back through. At first, so I heard, the demons were kind to him, but he took advantage of that kindness and the demons became angry with him and tried to kill him. Then, he disappeared, and went into hiding with the help of my mother. She told me that Eli was mad at the demons as well. One night…….he raped my mother!” Camy gasped, she didn’t know what to say to him. Then Eien continued, “After treating my mother like a slave in the darkness of the Demon Realm. He finally found a way out. After that, I don’t know what happened. The Demon burned his work and got ride of all traces of Eli, except me.” Camy just stared at the floor, “I’m sorry.” she said. “Don’t worry.” said Eien with a smile, “It’s not your fault. Besides, my mom’s ok. The reason I’m here with humans it to find Eli. I’m not sure what I’m going to do when I see him, but I need to know my father.” Camy thought about it for a minute. She thought about what she would do if that happened to her. The more she thought, the more she realized she wouldn’t do anything good to this Eli guy. “are you going to kill him?” asked Camy. Eien gave her a strange look, “Why?” Camy swallowed hard, “Well if it wasn’t for him, you would exist.” Eien suddenly filled with rage, “It would be better off for me not to exist. No one cared about me cause I was only half demon. I’ve always been treated like dirt. How is it good that I even exist? Huh?” yelled Eien towards Camy. Eien turned away and faced the door. The ship swayed back and forth in the silence. The Creaking of the wood floor was the only sound. Camy was speechless. When she finally thought of something to say, Eien started again. “Now listen Camy, before you got here, I was going to break out of here. Since you’re here, we’ll both got out of here.” said Eien, calmed down. “Wait,” sad Camy “that doesn’t sound like a good idea.” “Do you want to stay here?” asked Eien. Camy thought about it, “No, but what if we get caught?” “We won’t,” said Eien. Camy would have sat there and argued with him, but they ’d never get out of there. “Ok, what do you want me to do?” asked Camy whole-heartedly. “Number 1, be quiet.” said Eien. Camy nodded. “Number 2, can you get a life boat ready and got in to the water? You know, food, paddles, and get it all untied and ready to go into the water.” asked Eien. “Well ya, but it takes time.” said Camy. “That’s ok. Now listen to me. When we get out, try be as quiet as you can and get the boat ready. I’ll be behind you and make sure that no one bothers you, if they do, I’ll but then to sleep. “ said Eien clenching his fists, “you get that Camy?” Camy nodded. “So how do we got out of the cage?” she asked. Eien looked at her, and smirked. He walked forward, grabbed the door with both hands, and gave it a good jerk. He let go of the door slowly and the door opened. “The Captain never knew the door was broken, and he wonders how I try to escape so much.” said Eien smiling. Camy smiled, shook her head, and fallowed Eien out onto the deck. “Where is everyone?” asked Camy? “They mush be asleep.” replied Eien, “That means we planned this perfectly.” “There’s the boat.” said Camy. “Ok, please try to be more quiet.” said Eien. Camy nodded. “Ok, I’ll get stared on the boat.” said Camy. Camy walked over and got right to work. Eien stood facing away from Camy to stand guard. Since everyone was asleep, he got bored and decided to watch Camy. Camy was working on some many things, he didn’t know what she was doing. Suddenly she stopped. She turned opposite from Eien, looked around and then turned around and almost ran into Eien. “Are you ok?” asked Eien looking down at her. Eien was a littler taller than Camy was. “Ya….ya, I’m fine.” said Camy looking up at him. She was almost right against his chest. “Ok” said Eien Camy nodded but before she could turn around, she noticed one of Captain Kyto’s crew members walking up behind Eien. “Eien lookout!” she said. Eien looked at her. Then he noticed a shadow beside Camy in the full moon light. As the shadow brought it’s hands up over it’s head and down, Eien jumped forward and grabbing Camy and putting and hand over her mouth so she didn’t scream. When he landed, he turned around and faced his attacker, while still holding Camy. The attacker was about to call for help before Eien stopped him. “Wait. Why wake up everyone when you can get us yourself. Wouldn’t the captain be proud to have you aboard?” asked Eien. The attracted thought about it then nodded, “Your right, so I’ll just start with you first boy. But you remember who captures you, I’m Juto.” Eien set Camy down and whispered, “You keep going on the boat, this won’t take long.” Camy nodded and slowly stepped away from Eien. As Eien jumped at Juto, Camy ran to the boat, she was almost done hooking up the boat so it could be lowered into the water. When Eien jumped, he kicked Juto in the stomach. Juto stumbled backwards but regained balance, all the while Eien ran behind him. Juto looked around, looking for Eien. Suddenly, Eien jumped up and hit Juto on both sides of his head and knocked him unconscious. He fell to the floor with a big BOOM. Eien walked over to make sure Juto was unconscious. As Eien reached Juto’s head, Camy, trying not to scream, said his name. “Eien” she said, slowly and scratchy. When Eien turned around, Captain Kyto had Camy’s throat on his hand. Gasping for air, Camy tried to speak again. “Eien….help….me” said Camy slowly. Eien clenched his fists. “Let her go!” he said. The Captain laughed, “I need to keep one of you at least. Besides, she’ll be more entertaining.” The Captain lifted Camy’s chin, but she tried to bite him, then the Captain added, “No matter how vicious. She’ll sell for more anyways. You can go.” Eien glared at him, then turned around. “Ok then,” said Eien, “I’ll go” Then he started walking away. By this time, Camy’s heart sank. She couldn’t believe that he would leave her like that. She was about to give up hope until Eien whipped around and ran towards her and Captain Kyto. “I’ll go, But she’s coming with me!” said Eien. Camy’s heart almost popped out of her chest. She was happy but she also hated herself for doubting him. Eien jumped and kicked Captain Kyto’s hand and grabbed Camy. Once he got Camy, he jumped into the boat, causing it to swing out over the ledge of the ship. The ropes holding the life boat could not hold Eien and Camy’s weight and so they broke. The boat landed in the water. In the dark waters, the life boat disappeared in the darkness as the Captain Kyto looked over the side to find them. “It doesn’t matter, they won’t survive in a boat like that anyway.” said the Captain smirking to himself. Then the Captain walked to the wheel of the ship guided it in the opposite direction of Eien and Camy.
