blah. spring break this year was a total flop, basically. Ever since last Friday, I've only been home all day for 2 days. Sunday was church for most of the day (we had to stay to practice some easter stuff and then later we had to sing in the cantata) and then Monday through Wednesday I was in Worthington with my g-ma. It was kinda fun, though, because on Tuesday dad came down and we went to Sioux Falls, SD for a dairy expo. We had a good meal/banquet thing, and then there was entertainment! blaugh it was halarious... adult, yes, a bit racist, yes, musical, yes... xD loved it. Dad actually bought a DVD of a different appearance of theirs after the show... but we can't watch it until the parents watch it because it says something like "This show has some mild adult content"... *shrugs* i don't care... right now I think i need a nap... u_u

oh and then yesterday (thursday) and today I was at a friend's place! we were supposed to be working on her contest stuff for choir, but their piano was in the garage and it was really cold out there plus i only know 1 other piano besides that one that needs tuning just as bad... stare neutral but yes, it was fun! smile after attempting to practice (it was like a minute-long... not even.) we just kinda did nothing until i went out again to play (yes i know i'm an idiot but it was REAL piano!! not a digital one stuffed in a corner at my place!!!) for a little bit, and then when i came in to thaw, we went upstairs and talked in Sunako's (dark) bedroom and talked for a long time until we came downstairs again and had dinner and watched Pirates of the Caribbean- At World's End until 11 pm and then we went to bed. domokun i think we were both tired and talked out so we just conked out until this morning around 8:30. apparently my mom called and said that dad was coming to get me earlier than expected, so I was shoveling down breakfast and showering and prepping (dang that took a long time... i'm an almost-blind perfectionist, so on the few days I put on mascara, it takes FOREVER.) all to have to wait for a couple hours. most of the morning, actually. Then mom called to ask where I was and then she found out I was still at Sunako's place so she called dad and apparently he didn't do what he was supposed to do so mom had to come in and get me herself. Then we went to Willmar and spent the day getting my permit!!! whee that test was S-I-M-P-L-E. blaugh I got 3 wrong, and I would've gotten them right, too, but I didn't trust my gut and didn't think it through... sad but I passed! 3nodding and then after that was done we went grocery shopping and then shoe shopping for me. I needed a new pair of casual school shoes, and a pair for the Sadie Hawkins dance (I've never gone to this dance-- very anti-social...). I like the pair I got, but I think I don't like them as much as I could've... maybe they'll look better when I put the skirt on... confused sweatdrop who knows. I liked them because they were comfortable when I tried them on at Payless, but when i was walking around in them a few hours ago, they kinda pinched my toes... I'd feel really bad if I asked mom to bring me in to get another pair, so I think I'll just live with it... crying

oh and also today I went on an online-shopping spree thingy on Amazon.com and got 5 volumes of Crossroads manga, and 2 of Ultra Maniac. The total came to $64, I think... but anyways I found out yesterday (when I wasn't home) that my aunt sent home $50 for each of us for easter, so I just gave mom my $50 bill and I was good! whee perfect timing on my aunt's part... biggrin

and then (I just remembered this) right before we left for Sunako's yesterday, the electric company truck drove on our yard and told us they'd need to shut off the power for a few minutes to fix something... they fixed whatever it was, but the clocks were going bonkers and I didn't fix mine so I was confused on my clock earlier. My alarm clock is atomic, so it takes a signal from somewhere in Colorado on the exact time. That means I don't have to change it for daylight savings time! smile but it went bonkers when the power went out so I have to set the time zone info and everything into the clock again... *sigh* i wonder if the directions are where I put them last time... hmmm.....

I have also recently gotten myself into a kind-of fight here on Gaia with one of my best friends in real life... I feel horrible about what I said to her, and hopefully she forgives me... she had been reading someone else's journal here, and made a pretty nasty comment out of the blue, and then I came in and told her i thought I knew her better than that... but now that I think about it that is the kind of thing she would do if she got angry and was in a bad mood...

and then here I am. I should and could be doing a million more other more productive things that need to be done and here I am. This is basically an addiction, I think, otherwise I'm just too plain lazy to do anything else... sad I'll get over it eventually, though... hopefully! crying oh and in other news my sister's boyfriend got a profile here and he's on my pro so u can buddy him... domokun protect the noobs, for they are clueless. domokun just kidding... smile
