okay. tonight was interesting, to say the least. My mom and sister and I had to sing in our church's adult choir Easter cantata. I was supposed to do prelude- a song that I had hardy practiced, unfortunately... sweatdrop so yeah... I goofed that up big-time (but later one of the church pianists asked if she could copy the music... *shrugs*) and then after that there were some pretty major technical difficulties-- first before the cantata performance actually started, we couldn't get the music to play without the choir (in the CD-- well i guess not "in" it, exactly...) in the background. Then we got that working so we practiced for a little bit. Then apparently one of the wires broke in the CD player right before we were supposed to perform, so they had to stall a couple minutes to figure out what was wrong and how to fix it. Eventually they had to just use the old CD player... In the extra space we had, we listened to Pastor Mark (he's fairly new at our church, but he's a good pastor!!) do a couple announcements, and we said a prayer for the night's performance (and the night in general...) and then sang a hymn that us in the choir loft didn't have music for so Shelly and Stacey went into the crowd and got extra books for us... whee domokun hopefully we'll have a projector system soon enough... i wanna help with that! 3nodding
And so after that it went okay, only I had borrowed my sister's high-heeled shoes (which were half a size too big...) and I had to stand in those all night... eek dang and my feet still hurt... *shrugs and grins*
But in earlier news, today I deleted my Crunchyroll account. cry emo gonk I haven't cried yet, but I suspect I will soon... after all, that was the first social-networking kinda site that I had ever joined... I had made friends there, but I also made friends here on Gaia and I also have real-life friends here, too, so I was spending all my time here and letting my CR account go to crap... but I guess I would've had to let go eventually... mom says I shouldn't take it so hard- that it was just a stupid web game. I don't know... i have some good memories with CR... if all else fails, I can make a new account... but I kinda doubt it. Kinda funny-- after I first joined Gaia, I didn't even think about Crunchyroll. But now that it's gone, I miss it horribly. sad ... talk about a social life...
Also in the headlines today-- my grandma is over this weekend! whee She came yesterday and is staying until tomorrow. Then we're gonna go back to Worthington with her and then from there dad wants to take us to a dairy expo in North Dakota. That would be fun! smile I remember a couple years ago, our family got out of school to go to the World Dairy Expo in Wisconsin... whee domokun that was WAYYY too much fun... we took a tour bus of people from our area, and we toured some dairy farms (plus a mine or two wink ) both coming and going from the expo.
OH, and also some big(ger?) news-- since Thursday after school I have been helping with the school's production of Just Leave It To Us. I did tech (sound and lights...). Karen was happy because she got to spend time with her boyfriend, Elliot-- he's the director's son, and the director is also my english teacher... 3nodding she's so nice... smile And so I got to hang out with some of the "older" kids- Joe, Tanner, Kelsey (B & G), McCall, Katherine, Justin, Mitch, Leah, Andrea...yeah. The whole gang I guess... whee it was really fun. Last night was their final performance, and that afternoon they had had their Saturday matinee. I spent the whole day with them. After the matinee performance, we all went out to Kegger's (Bar and Grill) for some lunch, then afterwards we just hung out on stage back at school...Tanner was shooting people with a pressurized water bottle, and so Joe sat on top of him and gave him a wedgie. (to the point where Tanner said that he'd need surgery!) xd And then after their final performance last night, I was invited to go to Ashley's place for a party, but I declined. I'm glad I did, because the moment I got home, I fell asleep. Oh and the director also told me I'm hired for next year, too! 3nodding personally I didn't do much- but she said that she was just easy on me this year... prepare to help Kelsey G next time! cool
So yeah... oh and tomorrow I have a haircut at 10 am (very informative, I am... razz ) and I'm thinking I'll ask the hairdresser about red temporary coloring for my hair (I'm strawberry-blonde in real-life, so wouldn't it like make my hair pink after I washed it out?), too... that would be fun! 3nodding I really don't care an awful lot about my hair... I do like styling it for special occasions, but its kinda hard to do that because lately I've decided that I like my hair short.. ninja I've never colored my hair before, though... not even put like marker or stuff in it like kids in elementary used to do for pep days... *shrugs again*
Anyways thanksies for reading this whole thing (yes this how much I usually write when I have something on my mind... ninja burning_eyes pirate ) and hope you have a good day! domokun heart
