I've seen many people dissing Christianity on the forums. And although I myself am not religious (disregarding the Photoshop Cult that's ongoing between my group of friends), I feel like I need to say something about it.
And that is,
LET PEOPLE BELIEVE WHAT THEY WANT TO BELIEVE. As long as it's not physically or mentally harmful to anyone.
I have heard that one reason that people dislike Christians is that they try to convert everyone they see. Well, that's probably only one sect of it that does that. Many of my friends are Christian and they never tried to convert me. They are probably the nicest people you'll ever meet (my Atheist friends too, for that matters, and friends of other religions), and there is no reason to malign a whole group for what a small percentage of people did.
Regarding superior beings: just because we have no evidence of them in front of us does not mean they don't exist. They might, they might not. Maybe they do and they just don't want to show us of their existence. As my Earth Science teacher once said, "Nothing is Absolute." Science itself is made of Theories. (Not dissing science here, since I love it and it is very interesting)
Just because something is not seen doesn't mean it doesn't exist. A couple hundred years back, microorganisms were unseen as microscopes weren't invented. Yet, it exists.
Just need some ranting.
And PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN RESPECT.
Plus, if you are religious and you diss Atheists, this rant applies to you too.
