So, I started my own account at Gaia today. My days are usually pretty jam packed with training for upcoming gaming competitions or relaxing on my bed just shredding on the guitar. Though today, I found myself addicted to Gaia. I couldn't move from my seat almost all day. I started early this morning and walked through a few of the quests, then I went on to jigsaw puzzles where I stayed for a good amount of time. I then hopped over to the cinema where I made a number of new friends, which was pretty cool.
Overall, I seem to think I will like this site. Although, as time progresses, I'm not sure how I will find the time to visit the site regularly. If it turns out that I like this site as much as I have on this first day, then I will just have to pack my practice sessions tight in other games so that I can make time for this site. We will see though as time goes on.
In other matters, I'm still recovering from Thanksgiving where I know I ate too much. And also, I'm trying to recover from the upset that was brought to me last night by Arkansas, when they defeated LSU in Triple overtime. Final score was 50-48 sad By them doing that, they defeated the #1 ranked college football team in America (and the college I attended and graduated from) and knocked LSU out of the fight to the SEC Championship game, and the National Championship game. So, that's the season for LSU, better luck next year. This game really upset me, because the ref's made some pretty shady calls that virtually cost the game for LSU. I'm also a little upset with some of the play calling that was performed by LSU as I think different plays would have worked better in certain situations. Especially the slant route they ran at the end of the game for the two point conversion that was intercepted. That play had been shut down twice already, why not go with the quarterback draw that had shown success earlier in the game, multiple times. The defense even pulled away from the quarterback and made a nice hole for him to run through to get the conversion.......silly college players.
