Argh. Anyone who has a little sister knows that they are always the family favourite and can get away with practically anything.

Take the room I am in now. My sister has left her stuff all over the desk, dirty dishes, art work, papers, cables for the computer, essentially it is one big pile of crap. And who has to clean it all up every week? Me. I nearly always have to put away the dishes she leaves around and bring some kind of order to this mess. If I complain then my parents call be lazy, selfish and a number of other things. It's not fair, but what can I do? She's the favourite, not me. Oh, and if I make a mess I am in deep s**t because that is apparently lazy, inconsiderate, childish and other such things rolleyes

It's like this for everything. She always gets what she wants when she wants. I have to help her with her homework regardless of how uncooperative she is after asking, I don't have a choice, even when I am busy. If she needs the computer even to play a game or something I always end up getting kicked off, even if I am writing an important essay or something like that for school.

She just always gets treated better, from being pampered when she is sick (and I am told to get up, get dressed and start doing stuff) to not having our parents disappointed with subpar marks. I am expected to make the honour roll every term/semester and have all marks above 80, most being in the high 80s low 90s. For her, they don't care as much and are always willing to make exceptions.

And you can so tell who are the youngest siblings at school, or the only children (some anyway). They're always the most stuck-up with all the newest things and who always think that an exception should be made for them. Like a girl in my chem class, she expects that because she 'might' be away (for a horrible reason btw) the test date should be moved. Or that because they want to talk in class about inane crap like the new (and btw ugly) shoes they bought on the weekend they should be allowed to disrupt others' learning.
