every year a friend of ours (andy) turns his front yard into a haunted graveyard to frighten trick or treaters. several of our friends help man it: theres a few ghouls to scare them up the driveway, then they set off an animatronic monster and bump into the grave digger who shoos them into the 'cemetary' which is littered with body parts and features an unburied casket which is banging and thumping around (my friend mike is in it) while a corpse bride (mikes fiance amber) wails in misery. when they get close enough to the casket, mike (who is in the box every year) throws the lid open and growls or roars at them and throws out a treat. add to this a nice halloween soundtrack and strobe lights, a realistic skeleton hanging from the tree and cobwebs everywhere. it's pretty good. plus andy always buys the king sized candy bars so it's really worth it to go through there. what do i do? my sweetie and i find a good vantage point to sit and watch and laugh hysterically at the kids screaming in terror. the thing that makes all of this so funny is that by day this house is a daycare center. every one of these kids has been there before either because they live in the neighborhood or as clients of the daycare or trick or treated there last year. andy's wife has been doing daycare for at least 10 years now. but watching the teenagers is priceless. i wish i had a video camera so i could get it on film, it's really funny. so anyway andy says he's thinking of adding the backyard to the setup next year and will probably need more people. guess what i'm doing next year? lol. it'll be fun, i'm looking forward to it. biggrin

lol, also i bought myself a card from target and went shopping at the cash shop. i got myself 2 of the evolving items, i can't wait to see what happens with them.

i am declaring myself to be done with the halloween fighting. i've got feathinthewind maxed out as a human, heylookabunny is maxed out for vampire and snufflypoo maxed out for both. that's good enough for me!
